No rain but might change.
Oct. 6th, 2020 09:10 pmNo rain today just like yesterday and the day before but it looks like things might change on Thursday and Friday. Both now have a fairly high chance of rain. Things do change but it looks like as before the rest of the foreseeable forecast has basically no chance for rain. Probably again to the weather pattern we are seeing. If we do get rain it will be welcome as things are getting really dry around here.
I woke up in time to see the launch of the Falcon 9 but it was scheduled to be an hour later so I went back to bed and missed the launch. I did watch it on replay but not exactly the same but I did get to see it launch. There have been so many scrubs and postponements it is nice to see one that actually launches. Doesn't look like much of anything is coming up soon. Might be a Falcon 9 somewhere on the schedule soon but it isn't scheduled yet.
Gold dropped below $1900 an ounce today. Crude is holding steady but still back a good bit from its recent high. Gas prices are low and for the most part stable. I don't know all the details of refining but at some point refineries switch to heating oil. Don't know how the reduction in jet fuel impacts gasoline. Don't know the dynamics of making those two products or really the dynamics of different distillates in a refinery.
Still very little in the selection of platinum coins. Keep watching but not much coming available.
Bought a birthday present today. It was also an eBay day today. Was just surprised by that because I wasn't expecting it to be an eBay day. The package came several days early and I was surprised to see it on the walk. Still have an item or two out standing and still waiting on my battery packs. I am excited about getting those in and starting to play/plan with them.
No incense today. Did do the truck thing. Start and run. I think I got at least one junk call today. Pretty much decided if I remember the number of calls I will post it. I don't think I am going to write down what they were anymore. So many of them just repeat. Honestly a new one is kind of rare. I haven't got the one that starts out something like You are harder to get a hold off than the last pickle in the pickle jar or something like that. They do have some variations on that. But they kind of stopped after I asked one to say "I am not a robot." The reply was something about being a real person but wouldn't say the phrase. After that the calls stopped.
No incense today. Fozzy has been absent from my lap for several nights now.
Watched some more of Space Force today and finished watching the first episode of the new The Walking Dead series. They call the walkers empties. No one ever calls them zombies. Next week Fear The Walking Dead Premiers. Going to get a good fix of the Walking Dead Universe. Soon, I think on the 15th of October new episodes of Star Trek Discovery start.
Didn't work on the HEB delivery. And really really need to clean the kitchen tomorrow. Just about critical on everything.

Saw the moon tonight. Not full but still very bright. The skies really seem to be quite clear. Read reports that the mosquitoes are bad. Still don't open the front door after dark. So don't know how bad they are and really don't spend any time at all outside after dark.
Paid my credit card bill yesterday. Changed all of my mail options to Email. Probably should do that with all my bills. I essentially do that now the way I handle paying bills.
I think that is going to do it for tonight.
