Change today. No Rain.

After three days and just about 10 inches of rain if I remembered everything right and added it right we got a day with no rain. Still a breezy day. Driving around I could see the flags were waving straight out. Didn't seem like that much wind. Also I saw blue sky back to the north for the first time in multiple days. Hopefully that ten inches of rain will last for a while. Kind of getting late in the season to be watering but I will if I have too. Looks like there is not a single drop of rain falling in the state at the moment. Might be some light rain as I do see a few spots on radar but just about rainless everywhere. The forecast doesn't hold much hope of rain for the next two weeks. And going to be just a bit warm for a while longer.

Just got one junk call today. At least I might call it a junk call as there was no answer on the other end. Equipment malfunction or their timing just off.

Actually got out in the shop and did just a bit of vacuuming and straightening up but the humidity finally got to me and I only worked about 45 minutes or so. Might try for some more work out there tomorrow as the temperature looks promising. Do have a lot to put back in order. Really want to do that before I start a project. Just Five more days until the start of wood working season.

Gold has moved a good distance below $1900 an ounce. I wonder if this is the start of a drop in gold price. Crude didn't move much. Still in the lower range. Gas prices haven't changed. Still where they had been for a good while now.

Fozzy was in my lap but just left for a nap behind my computer monitor on top of my Desk. I guess that is one positive of the old CRT type computer monitors. Today's cat will not get to experience sleeping on top of a monitor. My first cat loved to do that.

Didn't do any kind of housework today. Should vacuum some. The problem with long haired cats. No incense today and wasn't an eBay day either but did get a package in from another independent company. Looking at the tracking tomorrow should be an eBay day and really leave me with just a single outstanding item on eBay.

Starting to watch the new episodes of Lucifer tonight. Don't know how many there are. Might be split into two halves. Also watch some of PBS Nova tonight. I think it was Nova since tonight is Wednesday.

My lawn company came today which is just a bit confusing because I thought they came on Monday. Was a bit early for them to come Monday morning so it might have been someone else's lawn company. Don't really know but checked to see if the one that came today was mine and it was.

Tomorrow the mosquito control guy is going to come by for an application and really need it. I have seen multiple mosquitoes around the front door. Been afraid to open it at night for fear of inviting several of them in.

Last night could hear the wind in the trees. Says winds are at 8 mph but seem calm. At least I don't hear them but I do hear the Geckos chirping. With so much rain going to have to check for mushrooms. We usually get a good crop after rains like this.

Did my usual truck start and run today. Been doing that everyday. Probably continue to do that although I really don't know how necessary to do that everyday. It is a good break and gets me out of the house.

Next launch is a Delta 4 heavy on the 26th followed by a Falcon 9 on the 27 on a Star Link Mission. Then maybe another Falcon 9 on the 28/29th.

I think that is going to do it for tonight.
