Not surprising at all that we didn't get rain today. Such has been the case for a while now. Thursday still shows a respectable chance for rain but that is about it for the rest of September pretty much. At least starting on Thursday the day time highs look like they finally drop below 90°F and stay there. Today was pretty warm and tomorrow will be too. Also some much cooler night time temperatures are coming too. Fall is on the 22nd so we are just 7 days away from the official start of Fall. And after today we are half way through September.

Still Sally. Has yet to come ashore. It now looks like Sally is going to come ashore just about at the boarder between Alabama and Florida. I kept thinking it would lose strength as it pulled up colder water and some of its circulation was over land but it has regained some of the strength it lost. My hurricane forecast skills to see to be lacking. Now about 130 miles away from my relatives so the impact should be minimal.

Gold is still happy to be trading in its new range. It does look like crude rebounded a bit but still a ways below where it was. All the gas stations I do check for prices haven't changed. I guess it takes a while to reflect lower crude price at the pumps. My coin merchant does have a single platinum coin for sale tonight. They had two last night but both are now gone. I Imagine this one won't last long either.

Thought I might just try to list the places I have lived. Hobbs. Lubbock, going to school. Midland, one summer while I was going to school. Brownfield, first place I lived after graduation. Houston, long term assignments to Midland and Lubbock while I was there. Overland Park, Kansas, after I was laid off. Lubbock, a job there. Houston, in an apartment. Pampa, Texas, long term assignment while I lived in Houston. Houston, House two. Calgary, Canada, long term assignment while I lived in Houston. Saudi Arabia, Long term assignment while I lived in Houston. Farnborough and Fleet, England, Long term assignment while I lived in Houston. Bogota, Columbia, short term assignment while I lived in Houston. House 3 in Houston. My History. It has been quite a ride. So I lived in four Foreign countries.

No incense today and so far no lap cat. Fozzy had been missing in action the last few nights.

Didn't do any project work today. I did straighten up my project table a bit and put some tools back in the shop. Continues to charge batteries. That should be finished tomorrow. No housework today either. I think I mentioned that my lawn company came yesterday.

Finally a firm date. Well, as firm as a rocket launch data can be. A Falcon 9 on another star link mission is suppose to launch on September 17th which is a lot closer that I thought. That is this Thursday now that I think about it. About 1:15 pm hour time. Will try my best to remember.

My viewing pleasure has included a good bit of Star Trek. Outside of that it has been mostly just YouTube videos.

I've heard three loud booms outside. Sounded close. Maybe fireworks but really can't tell. Nothing about them on Next Door. Something like that usually someone comments on.

Texted with Ashley.

Did my daily truck start and run. Almost need to put more gas in it. If I continue this I will probably fill it up. Good place to store my generator gasoline. I think I can get it back out if I really need to. Another late night run.

I think that is going to do it for tonight.
