Again I think we got rain today.

Well, actually I am pretty sure we did get rain today. Just not very much. I saw the few rain drops we did get on my solar panels so I know some did fall in the area. I watched a pretty solid line of showers heading this way and could even hear the thunder but it just seemed to split into and miss us completely. Radar did show something but I guess it was rain that just never made it to the ground. Radar can do that sometimes. Nothing looks like more than an normal chance of rain until the start of next week. We do seem to be getting a number of sea breeze showers but just have to be in the right place to get one. Some days we are and some we aren't. Suppose to get down close to 70°F tonight. The cold front that was suppose to come though here today did make it through my home time. The once I checked the temperature was 43°F. Really odd to be that cold there this time of year. But then it was going to warm back up into the low 80's after a day or so.

Gold seems to be in a narrow trading range now. Down a bit from $2000 an ounce. Crude has fallen back some and enough to be noticed. Doesn't seem to have made any difference in gas prices. The ones I check are still exactly where they have been probably for the past month or so. Let's see if my coin merchant has anything tonight. And the answer to that outside of the typically available American eagles is no. Seems like they have had at least one available but nothing tonight.

Today was a two incense burns. Started off with Black Cherry and later today I burned the next to last stick of my Vanilla. Thankfully I have more on order. By the time I finish my incense rotation I should have a fresh supply. No lap cat today or tonight. Fozzy might still make it. Still kind of early for him to make an appearance. He might still make it tonight.

Might be a rocket launch tomorrow. Something called a Rocket 3.1 • Test Flight. Window starts tomorrow at about 9:00 pm our time. I don't know if it is going to have live coverage or if the Everyday Astronaut is going to cover it on his YouTube channel. Looks like that might be the only one for a week or so. No real fixed dates given for awhile. I suspect there might be another test hop of the Star Liner but probably just have to be on line at the right time to catch that.

No housework today other than to move things around so I could mix all my oils for the next batch of soap. Got that all done and the saponification agent ready to go. I should mix a fresh batch sometime tomorrow. I have the mold and the "oven" ready to go. Don't want to wait too long because the saponification agent absorbs carbon dioxide from the air. With a stick blender it doesn't take long to mix. Then it is into the oven for 24 hours, cut into bars and left to cure for three weeks.

Got my HEB curbside order in today. Got it all sorted and put away. Going to try a couple of new items for breakfast. I got some turkey sausage that I might try from breakfast. Actually got it to put in the pasta salad but may try it for breakfast. I got mushrooms to add to my pasta salad. Always seem to do well in it.

Got four junk calls today. Well, one was actually a sales pitch but should probably be called a junk call.

The last one was from a roofer. He wanted to inspect my roof for damage and I am sure it would be like asking a barber if I needed a hair cut. I told him no thanks and then he started for the hard sell so I just hung up. Don't really want to tell someone no multiple times.

Enough calls to make up for the days they missed.

I guess the Museum of Natural History has given up on on line auctions. They are having something like an 80% off sale on Museum story merchandise. Searched through all of the items and really didn't find anything that I think would make a nice gift for Ashley.

Tomorrow is Cheese sandwich day. Got fresh bread today but I will use the remaining bread from my last order to make my sandwiches.
