Getting to be the norm now that we don't get rain. Did see what looked like thundershowers on the radar down close to the coast but I don't think any of them moved very far inland. It also looks like all the chances of rain for next week also disappeared. They now just show pretty much the standard for rain. Don't know what happened. Looks like we are going to see just a little bit cooler temperatures. Although today's was still a bit warm. Supposed to get down to 72 °F tonight. With a forecast humidity of 90 % probably not going to feel like that. Evaporative cooling wouldn't be good.

Need to worry some about tropical depression 14. Looks like right now it is heading for the ship channel. Only a few of the spaghetti models show it making hurricane strength. Most don't. Gary seems to think it will move further to the east though. He knows a good bit about the weather. I am pretty much just limited to looking at the spaghetti models. Tropical depression 13 looks like it is going to land on the upper gulf coast. It looks like it is also going to stay pretty much under the Saharan dust cloud.

Got an audio book for the first time ever. About witch craft. Going to listen to it.

Some house work today. Got my laundry folded and put up and put up the dishes. Also did a bit of vacuuming. To the hall and kitchen floor. Cleaned off the project table some more and vacuumed up clippings.

Was only outside much earlier today. Cicadas were active. Think I heard some chirping outside tonight. Generally pretty quiet. Close to the airport so the occasional plane too.

Junk calls for the day.

Prescription drug coverage. May have been a legit call. Not sure.
Current credit card account...lower your interest rate. Get this same call a lot.
Missed any electric bill payments. Just started getting this one and have gotten several now.

Didn't get any political surveys and haven't gotten any in a few days.

Can't really see what Gold did today. Kind of late tuning in to the chart. Looks like it stayed about the same. Crude oil seems to like where it is at. Not really moving much at all. Hasn't been in a while.

Selected vanilla as my choice for incense today. I think it was that. Never can much remember with certainty. No lap cat today. Did have snuggles from both Fozzy and Twist. Both are good at that.

Today was a major eBay day. Got five things all on the same day but from different delivery. Still have some more items outstanding. Don't think I have ever gotten so many eBay items on the same day. Seems like I am always needed or wanted something. Ebay is good for that.

Nothing coming up soon on the launch schedule. Not until the 26th. Gone quiet for a few days.

Tomorrow is cheese sandwich day. Have just enough to make it work. Placed another HEB delivery order tonight. For Sunday.

Thursday is generally a slow day for viewing pleasure. Something that usually happens is that I catch a little of a PBS documentary.

Got to watch the Gulf. Might have to buy gasoline maybe Sunday night. Probably 10 gallons. Will take the electric to get it. Kind of ironic. I do have an inverter that could run my small air conditioner. Not sure about the surge current. Plus I don't have enough panels to run it full time. And would have to do some rewiring. The batteries would have to make up some of the current. Could only run for short periods. Recharge the batteries and then run some more. Until night. I think it would work. The batteries would quickly be drained then. I wish my car had two way charging. A 60 kilowatt battery pack would run everything I needed for quite a while.

Tonight being Thursday night means there is a slight chance that a premium channel free preview will start. Seems to be slim though. Don't know what happened. Every weekend there for a while we had one. Not so much now.
