After watching thundershower after thundershower pop up and either dissipated before they reached us or passed close on either side of use we finally got a fairly heavy thunder shower. I checked my rain gauge and it showed we got something just over 1 inch and 1/10 of inch of rain. It all came in less than an hour. Everything got a good soaking which means at least a few more days that the lawn doesn't have to be watered. since next week doesn't show much of any decent chance of rain it was wonderful to get a decent shower. As always can still get a thundershower any time. I think these are sea breeze thundershower. Today they seemed to pop up everywhere. And we finally got a nice one to pass over us. Cooled things off nicely too. Maybe fortunate to get one or two more next week.

Something out in the Atlantic may become a tropical depression. The National Hurricane Center is still saying conditions are less conducive to formation later. Still it is far enough south that it looks like it needs to be watched.

Listening at the front door I can hear the chirping tonight. And I am sure the crickets are out tonight too. I might check later. Got to be careful of the mosquitoes. The moon looked to be about half full last night.

Gold has resumed trading tonight and has fallen back from its high. Don't know if it is going to make $2100 an ounce or not. Seems to have settled down a bit after the almost run away increase of the last few weeks. Crude is kind of up and down moving in a small range. Doesn't look like any kind of trend higher. It seems to be fairly stable where it is at. And the few gas stations that I if I remember check the prices haven't change at all in the last week or so.

No project work today although I did think about my fireworks controller but pretty much decided it is way to early to do any kind of work on that. So I am going to let that one slip a bit. Really need to be in my shop to build a case for my light sequencer so that one might go on hold for awhile too. I think I will add some more light strings though and play with it a bit more. Don't really have anything outstanding on eBay for project work.

Put together another HEB order tonight for delivery on Thursdays. Kind of my standard day for deliveries. Probably going to run out of tea before then though. Have to resort back to a mix to make my tea.

I think today's incense was Dragon's Blood. Fairly sure about that. Twist did visit my lap for a short period today. No Fozzy as of yet. He still might make it.

Nothing for me to watch in the way of rocket launches for probably another week.

I think my lawn company will come tomorrow. They seem to alternate between Monday and Tuesday every other week. Since they came on Tuesday last week they should come tomorrow. Let's see if I get that right.

Did a little bit of work cleaning off my project table. Did some more "landscaping" on the back porch. Just about to dismantle all the shelters for Fozzy when he was mostly an outdoor cat. Just about got all the brick moved and some other odds and ends removed. Probably finish that tomorrow.

Not much in the way of viewing pleasure today. Mostly just YouTube videos. My game show should be on tomorrow evening. However it wasn't on last Monday evening so I am not sure about that.

I was curious about something just to see if they still existed. I use to build Estes model rockets when I was in high school so just decided to see if they still existed and sure enough they do. And I think still offering the first rocket I built for sale. Was a fun hobby and I built several rockets. Well, now they offer video cameras. Use to be only still pictures.

I think that is going to do it for tonight.
