Nothing for today.
May. 16th, 2020 10:58 pmI don't think we got a drop of rain today. Still some wet areas left over from yesterday. Today started out cloudy but cleared up to a nice blue sky.
The storm off of the coast of Florida is now a tropical depression and forecast to become a storm. Well, correct that. It is now tropical storm Arthur. The first of the hasn't started yet hurricane season.
Moved my working model of CAD to a different work area. Was going to fix the tire on my project because the tire wouldn't seat in the rim. Changing to another tire same problem and was much to easy to get on. Then I realized it was the wrong size tire. It shouldn't be that easy to get on and off. So my wheel is some odd size and I don't want to search and maybe experiment to find the right tire. So, kind of back to square one on my drive wheel.
My Windows XP computer finally died. Some kind of thermal event and it would shut down. I put an external fan on everything but no help. So pulled the hard drive and the rest of the old machine will join the electronic scrap pile. Had to believe at one point that was identical to my work computer.
I still have my windows 7 machine which isn't supported any more and I will no longer connect it to the internet. So, going to pull some stuff off of it and then it will also probably join the electron scrap pile. I do have a hard drive with windows 10 installed. So maybe I will just do that. Not nearly as fast as this machine which is to be expected for a machine that is more than five years old. Over the years I have sent so many computers to that place.
As for the forecast nothing really except for extreme normal until the end of the week. That's the forecast.
I had my tea break although a bit later than I usually do. I seem to get distracted and forget what time it is.
Nothing from Gary on Hangouts. Generally get some text from him.
I dressed for dinner tonight. Wore my Blue sweat pants. More stuff on order from eBay.
Frozen II was in my mail box. With the premium preview on I won't probably watch it until next week.
Today's viewing pleasure was This Old House and Ask This Old House. Norm was on the show today. Don't see much of him anymore. I have been watching for I guess something like 40 years now.
Watching the Last Kingdom series on NetFlix. I wonder if stranger things season 4 is ever going to be.
Tonight's and last nights lap cat winner is Twist.
That should do it for tonight.
