Plenty of rain today.
May. 15th, 2020 09:47 pmWell, rain was forecast and we did get plenty. I checked the airport weather terminal which is only about a mile or so from here but I can't quite understand all the rainfall totals. I think it says we got a total of 1.64 inches in six hours. Gary of more northern Houston said they got over 7 inches of rain. He mentioned that tomorrow is going to be even more. Looking back to the west on radar something is indeed moving this way.
Watching the storm off of Florida. Still expected to become a named storm this weekend. First one of the not yet started hurricane season.
Don't think I am going to put out recyclables tonight because of the high chance of rain. I was planning on putting out a load of paper. I finished shredding everything I had pulled out. Every now and then maybe on earth day a company will offer free document shredding.
I think I can check my cars tire pressure from my computer. I will have to figure out how to do that or actually remember to look at it the next time I am in the car.
Finally did put up my laundry. Cleaned up the kitchen too and loaded the dishwasher.
I can finally look at the floor plan of the office again. And was just updated. I don't know if the office is open or not but it looks like most are working from home.
Should have Frozen II in my mail box. I don't think I am going to check tonight through. There is another premium channel preview on so I think I will try to find something to watch on it.
Nothing really on for my viewing pleasure tonight. I think last Friday was the season finale of Gold Rush.
Tomorrows viewing pleasure is This Old House and Ask This Old House.
No lap cat today.
Thinking I need to do Curbside again. I am almost out of my green tea for my tea breaks. I guess I can go a few days without one as I did for a long time before I started my tea break. Or just let Favor get and deliver for me. They are associated with HEB.
Still waiting on my eBay incense stick order. At the rate I use them it is probably a two years supply. i burned a black cherry Gonesh incense stick today. Running low on those.
Looking at google maps. I need to visit some more state or national parks. I wonder if the public diamond somewhere has good street level. Yes, Crater of Diamonds state park in Arkansas. It does. Fun to do virtual visits to places like that.
Looks like a line of showers to the west of us heading this way. Front of some sort. Looks like colder temperature behind it.
I think I mentioned that I won my item on the Museum of Natural Science yesterday. First time I have won an item. Mine was the only bid. I am usually outbid. Supposedly looking at the value versus what I bid I got a really good deal.
The ides of May are today. Just a bit of trivia. Some months are on the 15th and others on the 13th.
I would still like to go gold planning one day. I don't think there is a place in Texas. Well, some but really fine gold.
I think that is it for tonight.
