Another rain day

process04We did get rain today. It was a short but fairly heavy shower. Looking ahead it doesn't look like much chance of rain but that really never rules it out. Driving around tonight I could see lightening back to the south.
Last night was still a full moon. So I don't really know if the night before was the full moon or last night was the full moon. Both nights had really bright moons.
Nothing on the incense today. Some days are like that. I just don't remember. Do like how the way they make the house feel. And no lap cat today. I got busy on a project that after much effort finally got it to work up to the last step and now I am stumped. I have a few more things to check to see if I can finish.
Got another eBay package today. Got at least one more outstanding package now. At least until I decide I need or want something else. HEB delivered right on time. I was really expected them not to be that early but arrived right at my scheduled time. I now have batteries to work with another project.
Now let's see what Cristobal is during as it moves north through the gulf. Winds at about 50 mph and moving mostly north. Now it is pretty clear that it is going to hit somewhere in Louisiana sometime Sunday evening. I have people in the way.
I did a load of whites today and got them in the dryer and hopefully dry. Folding and distribution is work for tomorrow. I need to run the dishwasher too.

Got a call from Pilar yesterday. Always wonderful to hear from her. Called back to work. I think maybe my company has done the same but really can't confirm that.
I keep hearing what sounds like fireworks outside. Pretty sure about that. Kind of sporadic but have been hearing them for a few hours now. Nothing close though. Almost want to post something in Next Door. Kind of surprised that no one hasn't already. Seems like that is likely for sounds like that.
Need to watch more of my latest Netflix movie. Only watched about 5 minutes of it so far. Tonight I watched The Last Kingdom. Not much else for Saturday in terms of viewing pleasure. This Old House And Ask this Old House finished their season last week. Going to be repeats for the summer.
The next International Gem and Jewelry show is now scheduled for Late July early August.
Found some new interesting material on YouTube. There is some amazing stuff.
Going to turn warmer for the next few days. But doesn't really cool off. Going to be warm and humid for a while yet to come. Going to be some drama in Louisiana. I hope everyone stays safe. No fun going through a storm. Suppose to be an active year for storms. Starting off that way.
Well, that sounded closer. Fire works pretty sure. Still just every now and then. Just now heard more. Still nothing on Next Door. Don't really want to post there.
Not sure if I ever mentioned that the bad hail storm we got I guess well over a year ago now broke the glass on my home made solar panels. Not entirely but then expansion really completed the job. My commercial ones did just fine. But I use glass that really wasn't up to that. Can't really justify building any more because all the components now cost more than the commercial ones and produce only about a third of the power.
I would like to have a system to charge my car but really the system would I don't believe ever pay out. Haven't even attempted the numbers. Really I would have to pirate a big part of my back yard anyway. Would still be fun to do. Still really haven't seen another bolt. I do see a Tesla about every time out. Gasoline I noticed tonight seems to be going for about $1.55 a gallon. I did notice crude was up nicely today but gold took a minor drop.
