Very wet today. Got a heavy rain.

process04Rained very heavily today and got a lot of rain in a short time. Haven't taken a close look at the gauge but it looks like it must be at least 2" in about a couple of hours. Was really coming down hard and some very close lightning strikes too. Saw the flash and heard it at almost the same time. Much to close and very loud. Makes me nervous. Shutdown all the electronics. Always worried about frying something. My old clock did reset to 12:00:00. Nothing else did. Also set off a ground fault breaker. Easy to reset and everything back on line. The 10 day forecast also show a good chance of rain tomorrow and possible getting a dry day on Thursday. Thinking we are done for the night. Nothing shows up on radar but generally doesn't not mean that much. But maybe we are clear for the night. Got a break in the really heavy rain just in time for my HEB order to show up. Just really got a very light rain after that. It did stop the really heavy rain before the delivery.
Got my HEB Delivery order today. Not quite as early in the delivery window as usual but still in well with the scheduled delivery time. Didn't get my lasagna. Was out of stock. Got my natural apple juice substituted with original. The natural has freshly squeezed apples. Much more taste and probably with a lot more of the good health stuff too. Don't know. But just have to settle for the stuff from concentrate. Outside of that got everything I ordered. Nice to see my freezer compartments full again. They were getting plenty empty. Got pot stickers for dinner tonight. Long time since I had those. And added in some guacamole. Got it all sorted. And got my candy and ice cream. So good for a few days.
Didn't get anything else in. At least I don't think so. Haven't been out to the mail box tonight to really check. Didn't see anything coming in on tracking though. Did order some solid state relays for one of my projects. Got two 8 positions relays. With a bit of clever matrix wiring I can control up to sixty four ques. Should be plenty. Don't see anything coming in from eBay.
Not sure what is going to come in tomorrow. Maybe not anything. Don't know where my China wire connectors are. Didn't ask for any tracking. Certainly my Raspberry Pi keyboard won't be in tomorrow.
Feeling just a bit, well more than a bit depressed tonight and just feeling a good bit of anxiety too.
Got three junk calls today and two annoying calls.
No lap cats today but Fozzy did join me on the coffee table sleeping while I watched TV.
No Falcon 9 launch today. Was scrubber. Possible intrusion of a plane into their airspace. Looks like I tuned in just about 11 seconds before launch and then it was scrubbed. Another attempt tomorrow at probably about a half an hour earlier. So probably about 1:30 pm. Really just a guess. Will be watching for the actual time.
Gold dropped down into the third quarter of $1700 an ounce. Crude regained some ground today but didn't get back to another 52 week high. Had a good series of new 52 week highs.
No bills paid today. Incense today was lavender. Really need to do the truck start, run and drive. Was raining so a good excuse not to do it today. No more word on my car. Hasn't been inspected yet. Got to get that done and wait until I get the all clear before driving it home.
Viewing pleasure for today was more of my Netflix series, YouTube videos, NOVA and Barnwood Builders.
Cleaned the kitchen and removed all my project work from there and straightened it up. Kind of light on the house work.
Even lighter on the wood working. Only made two cuts to start construction of the wheel wells. Thought I had some 5/8" aluminum bar stock but I don't. I have 1" and 3/4". Going to eventually have to order some for my wheel axels.
Only project work was doing so organizing and software development. Working on my binary clock software. Getting there but needs some more optimization. Going to be a bit difficult to get the code to work. Wish I new how to convert the time to binary or just use something like excel to extra the value of digits in specific locations. Looking at the time function as a start.
Don't think I am going out for a drive tonight. Did put the car on charge last night.
Need to sort out the shop.
Got that done. Car is still out.
Recharge day this week. Got to recharge all of my fireflies.
I think that is going to do it for tonight.
