Yesterdays rain but not today.
Mar. 9th, 2022 09:56 pmDidn't get any kind of rain today. Don't think we did but kind of hard to tell at times. I don't think any was forecast but the days just seem to blend into each other and hard to keep them apart. Going to be nice tomorrow and warm up to a nice shop temperature. Going to turn cold for the next three days after that and probably drop to freezing Saturday morning. Maybe Sunday but the forecast isn't for as cold. Decent chance of rain on Friday too. Warming up after that to nice temperatures. My outside temperature gauge says it is about 46°F with 72% humidity. Officially at the airport it is 50°F with 69% humidity. No work in the shop today.
Got one of my cheap jade bangles in today. That was it for today. Did order a couple of more things. Ordered a 1" shutoff valve for my water main. A SharkBite and a pipe cutter. I think I can do it myself. The price of the special pipe cutter hopefully is cheaper than a service call with a plumber. Got notice that my next try at mini-blinds shipped today. Probably get those this week. Don't think anything is coming in tomorrow.
Doing better tonight although not by much. The trigger was a bad one and still mostly depressed. Hoping tomorrow will be a better day. Having bad dreams to go with it too. So tired of this.
Just watched YouTube videos for viewing pleasure today. Meant to catch up a bit on my TV but didn't.
Paid my lawn company bill today. Took it to the post office to mail it. First trip the outdoor mail box was full. Don't like trying to put it in when it is full. Second trip mailed with no problem. Paid my credit card bill today. Just the amount due. Got paid today also. Already gone to pay my credit card bill. But this one had all of my insurance in it.
Today is the 9th. March is passing too.
Got up in time to watch the launch of the latest Falcon 9. Just another perfect launch and recovery. They seem to be good at it.
No housework today or wood working. Did unpack and install my new inverter. Had to change the settings to make it work. Working. Had to add software to my lap top to change the inverter settings. Wanted to set the lower limit voltage lower but set it as low as I could. Finished one of my adapter plugs for my transfer switch. The 20 amp one. Still have the 30 amp one to finish.
Mood wise I want to put another one in the books.
Gold took a dive today. Fell well back into $1900 an ounce. Crude backed way down too. Not really close to its high now.
Fozzy slept with me last night. Twist is quite the lap pirate. Any chance he gets he is in my lap. Don't mind mostly. Try to give him plenty of attention.
Talked to both Kevin and Gary today.
Phone is set to whitelist. Was to disconnected but changed to voice mail.
The car is in the shop. Not going out for a drive. Gas is at $3.89 a gallon. Long time since it has been this high. Benefits of an electric. I saw a Mustang Mach E today. First one in the wild.
Ordered something fun from Scientifics Direct Online. Their website is finally working again.
Slept later than I thought I would after going back to bed after the launch.
I think that is going to do it for tonight.
