Long nap but no rain.

Took a really long nap today. A lot longer than I planned so I am running late but still going to try to get in a full entry. Probably can't get to sleep anyway. Was another nice day. No rain at all. Forecast didn't have much of a chance anyway. Good chance for rain on Saturday and going to turn cold. Will have to watch the temperature. Going to be another nice day tomorrow and then be cold for a couple of days and then warm up for more and then turn cold again. Such is winter weather. Just have to play it by the weather. Indoor or in the shop. Did some work in the shop but really not as much as I had planned to do because I just took a lot longer nap than I had planned. My outside temperature gauge says it is 47°F with 66% humidity. Officially at the airport it is 51°F with 59% humidity.

Got an eBay item in today. Got my after dinner snacks in today. Also got my Walmart delivery. Right on time. Did tip. Can't do that on line so I just left it taped to the door. Got resupplied on bread. Need that for tomorrow. Didn't order anything. Outstand is eBay. The US postal service, the US mint, Lowes. Costco. Don't see anything on tracking for tomorrow. Don't think Costco will make it this early

I think I got five junk calls today. All from some kind of Medicare scam calls. All kinds of names.

Tomorrow is cheese sandwich day. Really need the break to make that happen. Good to go now. Also cinnamon bread for breakfast tomorrow. Have been out for awhile and more pop tarts for dessert.

Tonight is Thursday night so I have to check sometime this weekend to see if it is a premium channel free preview weekend.

Viewing pleasure hasn't changed. Same as the past few nights.

Tried to watch the Astra Launch on my TV. Kept getting fuzzy. Don't know what was wrong. Might have to just connect a computer to it and see.

Didn't watch the launch live. Replay two minutes late. Something happened on the second stage. Chat said the fairing failed to separate cleanly. Second stage started to tumble. Showed that on camera. Didn't make it to orbit. Next possible launch to watch is in a couple of days.

Mood was another fair day. More and more of the same type of bad dreams. Felt just a hint of hopelessness trying to move in on me. Just seems to be typical. Must have been much more tired than I thought. Took a really long nap. Just know something will happy soon. Just can't put this many days feeling decent together without getting another down day.

Gold is hanging in there at $1800 an ounce but not buy just a whole lot. Crude is not moving much. Might not have any more 52 week highs left in it. Just have to see.

Didn't do any housework today.

For project work. I installed Linux Mint on the spare drive I had. Checked and there was nothing on it first. Now has Linux mint. Took the Windows 10 drive out. Going to leave it. Built a heat shield to use with my heat gun to connect the wire extensions on my battery packs using the new connectors. Use VCN to make my radio work. Took away the keyboard, screen and mouse.

Did just a little work on my chair. Meant to do more. Tested my vacuum scrubber. The baffle didn't work well at all. Most just by passed it. Going to have to order some more bags for it. Going to think about what else I can do to make my scrubber work.

Got to put oil in my oil lamp night light. Won't make it until morning.

Car is out. Need to sort the shop and put the car up. Think I will do that now. Not going out for a drive. Got the shop sorted. Plenty cold outside.

Both cats stopped using the orange litter box. Don't know why. Just use the gray one now.

No snuggle cats last night. Twist was a short time lap pirate. Couldn't let him stay long. Was fixing lunch.
