Very cold out with cold rain.
Feb. 3rd, 2022 10:13 pmStarted out cold today and got colder as the day went oh. Got some rain today and further north and west it was freezing rain and sleet but I don't think we got any of that here. The rain has moved out so should be good for the rest of the night. Don't see any chance of rain in the forecast for the remainder of the forecast. And is going to warm up somewhat the middle of next week. Probably enough to do some work in the shop. My outside temperature gauge says it is 30°F with 87% humidity. Officially at the airport it is 30°F with 81% humidity. Didn't do anything out in the shop other than move my battery rack inside and remove all the clamps and hang them up.
Didn't get anything in today and didn't order anything else. Opened my casters and they are big. I think much more than I need for the project but they are what I have so I will use them. Got lots outstanding. I need to think. Lowes, TurboTax, eBay, Rockler. And open carts at Home Depot, Costco, HEB and Walmart. No sure when I am going to release another HEB delivery order.
Twist was a lap pirate twice today and Fozzy snuggle with me this morning. Almost snuggled with me while I was doing my eye treatment but I had to get up.
Going to be a long night.
Viewing pleasure was the same as yesterday. Into the second season of Locke and Key. Don't know if there is going to be a third season. Got 10 more episodes to watch. Just checked and there will be a third season.
Tomorrow is cheese sandwich day. Got just enough bread to make it work. Probably release and HEB order next week. Really just about out of breakfast food. Doing ok with the rest. Might have to release a Walmart order for some. Just unfrozen food from them. Don't want it to be less than $100 though.
Did odds and ends for housework today. Sorted, folded and put away a load of whites and did a load of t-shirts. Finished salvaging the packing paper.
No woodworking outside of taking the clamps off of my battery rack and bring it back in side.
Finished preparing all my battery modules for installation. Just need the connectors. Still have to finish the bus bars.
Watched another launch of the Falcon 9. Saw something fall from the first stage on its way back. Guess it wasn't critical. Landed on the recovery ship. Looks so easy for them.
Didn't get the car out. And certainly no going out for a drive.
Tried to start the truck but the battery is weak. Got it on charge. Might try a start run and drive tomorrow.
Gold is still just barely in $1800 an ounce. Crude easily set another 52 week high. Really broke through the old one. Does look like it is on its way to $100 a barrel.
No bill paid today.
No junk calls.
No word on either car.
I think that is going to do it for tonight.
