Do over from yesterday. No rain.
Jan. 21st, 2022 11:00 pmCold today and dry. Going to get even colder tonight and get down to freezing at least for a little while. The forecast says. No rain today or snow. Looking like an almost 100% chance of rain on Monday. Some what of a warm up but not particularly warm. Did do just a little working in the shop. Used the drill press but much too cold to do anything else. Doesn't look like much of a warm up until the following work so minimal shop time and more indoor work. Didn't put my outside temperature gauge back out today so no outside temperature. Officially at the airport it is 41°F with 47% humidity.
Got my night lights in today but didn't order anything else. Got one outstanding item on eBay. Tracking for it says Tuesday. My sauces from Walmart says Sunday and don't know about my Jehu battery order. Looking at ordering a linear actuator. Just did. So now something outstanding from Surplus center.
Thinking about my next project. Going to build a lift system for my short throw laser projector. Build a cabinet on rollers so I can store it under my mad scientist bench and move it around. Will finish my chair first before stating on that and work on my electric tricycle too.
Had my cheese sandwich today. Keeping the tradition.
Twist was a lap pirate. Both cats snuggled with me last night and twist did during my nap.
No bills paid today.
Did remember to watch the live Atlas launch. Odd configuration. Only one solid rocket booster. Kind of puts things off center but they can compensate. Looked like a perfect launch. No booster recovery though. About five days before another watchable launch.
Today's viewing pleasure was the same as the previous couple of days. This isn't a premium channel free preview weekend. Remember to check last night.
Car is out and not planning on a drive but the shop is sorted. Just got to put up the power cord.
No woodworking today.
For house work I ran the dishwasher and got the dishes put up. That included kitchen duty. Finished washing my Fostoria and put it in my China cabinet. Still have some stems to wash. Took them out of storage and put them in the cabinet without washing them. Now I will.
Finish my FM radio project and got it working. Prototype for my old style desk radios. My five Volt amplifiers worked. Tiny speakers sound decent enough.
Gold is bouncing pretty good but still in $1800 and ounce. Crude backed down. Still close to it high but probably not again for awhile.
Got my oil lamp night light lit in the kitchen along with a candle. Thinking I am going to leave the heat up tonight just to be cautious about the cold tomorrow. Should be fine. Forecast has changed to show a low of 32°F. Changed from a low of 31°F.
I think that is going to do it for tonight.
