Fireworks today but no rain.

Getting close to New Years and fireworks sales have already started. Nothing like a hint of rain today although it did get close to the warm side for Christmas. Not even close to the white Christmas we had a few years back. One kind of respectable chance for rain next Wednesday and it is going to stay warm all next week. Did work in the shop and got too warm and had to turn on a fan. Not bad after that but the mosquitoes are out. In force. Shouldn't be this way in late December. My outside temperature gauge says it is 71°F with 86% humidity. Officially at the airport it is 69°F with 86% humidity.

Christmas day so nothing moved and didn't get anything in today. Since tomorrow is Sunday not expecting anything but it looks like next week might be a busy week for deliveries. Got eBay items coming in and ordered some more batteries from Jehu to play around with. Ordered some more after meal snacks. Starting to get low on those again.

Got left overs from Mary and Kevin. Good. Plenty of them. Talked to Steve just a little.

No bills paid today. And this morning incense was vanilla.

I made candles today but didn't use my new jars. Refilled the old ones. Cinnamon scented this time.

Did kitchen cleanup duty for housework. Vacuumed the guest bed room and fixed the closet door so it is easier to open.

Didn't do any project work except for some organizing and putting some battery blocks on charge.

Saturday night so no gold and crude report.

No change in my viewing pleasure from yesterday. Still haven't checked to see if this is a premium channel free preview weekend.

Missed the live launch of the James Web Space Telescope this morning by six minutes. Watched the replay. In orbit and on its way. Going to be a while before we see any results.

For wood working today I worked on my duplicator.

Moved some glassed to my New China Cabinet. Got more ready to go.

Seems like I stayed busy all day and the time did pass but I don't think I can say what all I did to make that happen.

My oil lamp night light is lit in the kitchen. Looks like it is going to be a long time before I need the Aladdin. Got the fired heater turned off. Did that early this morning.

Still need to sort out the shop and put the car up. Do have it on charge. Not going out for a drive.

Really need to do a start, run and drive on my truck.

My recycle bin is pretty much full. No pickup today though. Going to be overflowing by next Saturday.

Another launch to watch in another day or so.
