A from the weather, no rain.
Dec. 14th, 2021 10:46 pmWas another day here that was cloudy and a bit of a dreary day but it did have some sunshine. Nothing but dry but I think it might have been really foggy this morning. It kind of looked hazy when I looked out this morning. Does look like the forecasters are pretty sure about getting rain on Saturday. Into 90%. Maybe more rain listening time. The pass rains have been kind of brief to do much. Spent just a little time in the shop today. Not really much at all but it was most comfortable. Going to be rather warm the next three days and then cool off again as the rain moves through on Saturday. My outside temperature gauge says it is about 74°F with 91% humidity. High humidity again tonight so probably more fog tomorrow morning. Officially at the airport it is 73°F with 89% humidity. Don't see any mention of fog and it doesn't look like the temperature is going to drop much more.
Didn't get anything in today. Thought I might get a couple of items but nothing. I do have my HEB delivery scheduled for Thursday at 2:00. Getting kind of low on food but still really plenty to go for a while longer. Might get a couple of items in tomorrow. Hard to say from the tracking.
Had a eye appointment today. kind of disjointed my entire day. Back on my schedule tomorrow. Set my schedule quite a bit off. Guess I am getting to use to being set in my ways.
Probably have to call soon on my third order from Fab Glass. I think I should have gotten it by now. Did get my mirror and my door glass. The mirror was heavy.
I think this mornings incense was vanilla. Kind of sure about it.
No bills paid today. Fozzy snuggled up against my let again this evening as I was sitting on the cough. I really like when he does that. It just feels special. But no lap cat today or lap pirate. Both have their favorite sleeping places. The chair still seems to be one of their favorites with both Fozzy and Twist.
For housework today I did my kitchen duty and ran the dishwasher. Got to put them up. Also did a load of whites and have them in the dryer.
Still admiring my work installing the mirror. That project is essentially done except for the back. Don't know when or if I will ever do that.
For wood working I stained the doors on my cabinet. Took them off first.
Got one junk call today.
Cut short my viewing pleasure tonight because of unusual circumstances. Did watch more or the new Netflix series and more YouTube videos.
Gold fell into the third quarter of $1700 an ounce. Crude lost more ground today but not a lot. Gas prices haven't moved down at all. Still the same even with the sharp drop in crude price.
Felt stressed this morning and depressed and then got triggered this evening. Bad depression. Thinking I am am coming out of it now. Just have to make myself analyze the trigger critically.
For project work today I finished wiring the star control box except for the leads from the computer to the relays. Powered it up and updated the computer. The Raspberry Pi 3 A+ is back in stock so I just ordered two of them. More projects and don't really need anything more powerful. Have to have a USB hub though but those are inexpensive.
Got just a little to put up in the shop. Not going out tonight. Going to put up the car in a little while.
Christmas is going to be here before too much longer. About 10 more days. Kind of seems unreal that another year has come and gone. Going to have to sort all my papers. Shouldn't be as much this year since most everything I have switched to paperless billing. Got to pay my quarterly soon.
No word on either car. Looking more and more like I am not going to get it this year.
Got a notice about my Morgan City Silver Dollars but they were sold out again before I could get there.
Discovered I have an 8 amp 12 volt power supply. Didn't know I had that. Forgot about it.
Just about out of breakfast food. Going to have to try cooking the hash browns soon. Have hot dogs too. Having had one in ages. All my jam had expired. Just had buttered toast for Breakfast.
Got a ton of frozen food in this order. Think I can process it. Added strawberry jam to my HEB order.
Doing research. Can't find a dealer that even has a new Bolt in stock. Don't think I will get it this year. More waiting.
I think that is going to do it for tonight.
