Well, a surprise rain today.
Dec. 4th, 2021 10:38 pmWe did get a brief shower today although the chance of rain was pretty low. Looking a the radar it was probably jus one of those pop up sea front thundershowers. Wasn't particularly long or heavy but it did get everything wet. The chance of rain on Monday is very respectable. I think I am going to stop looking more than four or five days ahead in the forecast. It changes so much. Had to turn on a fan today in the shop as it was getting just a bit on the warm side but the fan took care of that. Going to be warm again tomorrow. My outside temperature gauge says it is 70°F with 92% humidity. Probably going to be fog tonight or another heavy dew tomorrow. Official at the the airport it is 69°F with 90% humidity. Does show an early morning fog.
I used my nail set today and I was thinking about when I bought it. Must be close to 40 years ago now but when I bought it the blue laws were in effect. When I tried to buy it there was a debate at the cash register about if they could legal sell it on Sunday. So stupid. Glad the ignorant blue laws are gone. Stupid to make people live by the tenants of someone else's moronic religion.
Got three items in today. Didn't order anything else. I got my soy wax, my Danish oil and my cordless drill battery. Couldn't figure out what the third item was until I scanned my email and saw what was delivered. Bought the battery more for the case. Don't know if it will be any good but guessing I can open the case and replace the batteries with better ones. According to tracking I am going to get the glass for my doors in tomorrow. FedEx does deliver on Sunday.
I would like to have a real tree for Christmas again. Let the cats climb it. Just for them and old time. Never got one for Kricket Although I intended to. Sad that it didn't happen.
For housework just vacuumed a little in the mad scientist room and late tonight I did my kitchen duty.
I finished my light chaser project for project work and mounted the relays for my Christmas star controller. Starter building another battery changer. Have all the parts. Just need to put it together.
Got to the computer just in time with about three minutes left in the count down to see the Ariane launch. Quite a deal with four solid rocket boosters. Nothing for the next day or so
For wood working I finished the bookcase except for the one trim piece. I have planed the wood down to the right size for it but I still have to go the scroll work on it. Wanted to finish that today but didn't. I almost screwed up big time as I forgot to put a panel in place before the glue up. Would have been impossible to fix. Thank goodness I noticed in time before the glue set and took it all back apart an put the panel in place. Close one. I really need to pay attention to what I am doing.
No bills paid today. No lap cats today or lap pirated. Fozzy did snuggle with me while I was doing my eye treatment this morning and while I was laying down to take a nap.
This mornings incense was dragons blood.
Markets are closed so no gold and crude report.
Shop is out so I need to get that sorted and put the car up. Might go for a very short drive to look at gas prices.
Did finally check this afternoon and it isn't a premium channel free preview weekend. For viewing pleasure along with the usual YouTube Videos I watch Camp Cretaceous and Cowboy Bebop.
Tomorrow is LOL Cat. Keeps me going sometime just to read that.
Felt it bad this morning. Depressed badly. Some mornings are like that. Did manage to slowly raise to just a more normal lever of depression and felt mostly decent the rest of the day. Just so tire of the dreams I am having. Almost all bad and depressing. What does it take to have a good dream?
Got the sticker for the car today. Haven't put it on yet. Will be legal on two vehicles.
More pop tarts for after Dinner Dessert. I like those. The strawberry is really good.
Need to take time and learn more about my Refrigerator's family center. Should scan a bunch of my old photos and put them on it. I wonder how long it would take to scan all of my old pictures.
Checked gas prices. Haven't followed crude down.
No word on either car.
Did a very short drive. Car is put up.
