Another yesterday. Nice and no rain.
Nov. 14th, 2021 10:41 pmJust another really nice day today. Started off a bit cold in the morning but warmed up nicely. No rain to be seen. Haven't been checking the radar lately so I don't know if other places nearby might be getting rain. Still looking like we might have a better chance of rain this Thursday. The weather changes so much don't really want to look any further than that. Going to be a bit warm for the next three days and then turn cold again for awhile. Up and down temperature. Might actually have the air conditioning come on. Looks like the batteries went dead in my outside temperature gauge so no local outside temperature tonight. Officially at the airport it is 63°F with 81% humidity. Didn't do much in the shop today but it was comfortable.
Nothing delivered today as it is rare to get anything on Sunday although it has happened.
This mornings incense was Dragon's Blood.
No bills paid today.
No lap cat today but Fozzy snuggled on my chest this morning. Kind of rare for him to do that. I wish I could have let him stay longer. Both cats slept with me last night. Twist snuggle while I was taking a nap. Both cats actually laid down together. Fozzy wants to snuggle with Twist but Twist doesn't seem to want to. They are brothers so for the most part they get along fine but at times they do play a little rough. Don't know who is the mean one.
Looks like everything moved back another day as far a launches. Will keep checking.
Ordered a contour gauge today. Actually ordered three things yesterday. I ordered one of those old style Boston pencil sharpeners. The one I have in my shop really doesn't work well. I also ordered some drill bit depth stop collars. Don't want to drill through will I am using wood pins to make joints. The lazy way out of not using mortise and tenon. And some unique lights for my glass shelfs. These attach to the glass shelfs themselves. I think it will be unique and better than lights in the top of the cabinet.
So I have items outstanding from eBay, Home Depot, Rockler and MLCS. My order from MLCS won't clear for a long time.
Been mostly on the wrong side of border line depressed all day. Anxious about turning in my leased car as it expired last week. Anxious about getting my truck inspected and when my new car is going to come in. Still managed to get a good bit done today. Helps to keep busy to moderate my depression.
For Housework today I cleaned some in the bathroom. Had a nice clean kitchen this morning. Doesn't look like it now. I took down the Ikea bed. Going to reuse the frame rails. Don't know what I am going to do with the head and foot frames. Should see if the scrapper will take them along with my old mower. Really need to let that go but kind of hard because I bought it when I got my first house and that has been a long time ago.
Not much in the way of project work. I got out my light sequence and updated the computer.
For wood working I am basically finished with the china cabinet as much as I can be until I get doors and hardware in. I attached the top and cut the spacer pieces for the bottom. Looks good and bigger than it did in my head when I started to build it. Trying to imagine it with the doors and top. Also started on the bracket to hold two solar panels on my back fence.
Took a nap today so not too awful tired tonight.
I resumed watching Sex Education today and continued watching Into the Night. And YouTube videos for viewing pleasure.
Already sorted the shop and have the car put up. Did something strange last night and would unexpectedly turn on the brights. Never did that before. I don't know if they did something wrong with the new battery installation.
Had a pop tart for dessert tonight.
Read LOL Cats today. Always a bright spot.
Cooked dinner tonight. Not the usual microwave dinner. Enough for tomorrow night too.
About ready to be in bed and sort today out.
Didn't really sleep all that well last night.
Don't Remember any dreams last night.
Twist just did make it to lap cat status.
My ice maker is making a lot of ice now. Dumped the last three buckets. Cleaning out the carbon filter.
Based on tracking might get a couple of items in on Tuesday. Wish my display cabinet doors would come in.
I think that is going to do it for tonight.
