The rain missed us again.
Oct. 3rd, 2021 10:40 pmI watched on radar as some thundershowers just missed us. Moving to the north. Our luck just didn't hold out today. And it looks like practically no chance of rain until next week. Maybe like today though there were popup thundershowers. Just hope we can be under one before I have to water again. Moderately warm days with chilly nights ahead. Looking like 90's or close to that. Pretty much no change until next week. Right now my outside temperature gauge shows it to be about 78°F with 83% humidity. The official temperature and report at the airport is 76°F with 89% humidity. Did a good bit of work out in the shop today and as long as the fans were on it wasn't too bad.
For housework today I put the dishes up and did some just general organizing. Moved a few things around. Just to make things look just a bit less cluttered. Moved my recycle bin back inside. Opened my generator cover. Looks to be well made. Still need to put it over the generator. Took down part of my garage door seal. It was really causing the door to stick. I think that was the problem
For wood working today I did more work on the face frame. Should actually start to assemble that tomorrow and maybe start on the dust frames too.
For project work I finished the assembly of the seven inch screen holder. Need to mount it on something to keep it high enough to view.
I guess I missed the Japanese rocket launch. Don't see it scheduled anymore. Thought it was tomorrow. Nothing much coming up anytime soon that is watchable.
Gold move up past the midway point of $1700 an ounce. Crude just keeps getting close but just can't seem to set another 52 week high.
As usually I don't remember today's incense burn.
Twist snuck into my lap today as I was setting on the couch. He has become a lap opportunist. Pretty much got comfortable and went to sleep.
Seems like I did Okay today. Nothing much in the way of depression. Still afraid something might trigger me. I just wonder is this is how normal people feel sometimes.
Read LOL Cats today. Always look forward to that and enjoy it.
The shop needs to be sorted. Might take a Netflix DVD back tonight just to get out for a drive. Haven't done that in awhile.
Did the truck start, run and drive today. Decently long loop.
Didn't get anything in today or order anything else. Modified my HEB delivery order. Added and deleted.
No junk calls which is pretty much normal for Sunday. Will pick back up tomorrow.
No bills paid today.
Don't know when I will get paid this month. Never is consistent from month to month.
Just trying to come to grips with the fact that the employed part of my life is over. No more commuting, Meetings, deadlines, people. A bit sad actually. Nostalgic.
Should track my car.
No dessert today.
Got the shop sorted.
I think that is going to do it for tonight.
