Following up with another rain free day
Another dry day. Wasn't really expecting any rain today anyway. The chance was pretty low.
I will continue the weather report but first I just wanted to say this has been a pretty depressed day. Major anxiety for most of the day. Did feel a bit better earlier but that is pretty much over now. Just looking forward to going to bed and reflecting on the day.
Now back to the weather part of my diary. Looks like a better than average rain chance for the next couple of days but I am kind of pessimistic about it. The yard doesn't look like at this time it needs any water. The new sod for the most part has taken hold. I probably should do just a bit more to the front yard as it doesn't look to even at the moment but definitely looks better that it did. Right now my outside temperature gauge reports that it is 81°F with 79% humidity. Comparing to the official temperature at the airport it is 79°F with 83% humidity. Didn't do anything out in the shop today. Would be nice to listen to the rain from a normal rain and not a tropical storm.
Made an appointment to get a flu shot. Decided I would just take a drive out there to see just exactly where the clinic was. It turn out to be a lot further than I expected so I cancelled the appointment and will just wait for an opening at the clinic that is a lot closes. It was a long drive though. The car is out and on charge.
Tried to order my car today but they never called back. Doesn't sound like they are too interesting selling me a car through the Costco Program. Will try again tomorrow. A little upset that they didn't call back when they said they would.
Fozzy was a lap cat this afternoon. Rarely gets in my lap so early in the day. Feel asleep.
Had my cheese sandwich today.
Could hear the fireworks from the ball park tonight. Home game and Friday.
Tired tonight. For sure not going out for a drive. Got to put the car up though. It is on charge.
Didn't pay any bills today.
Checked and it isn't a premium channel free preview weekend.
Split half and half watching Lucifer and my new series. Also watched more YouTube videos for my viewing pleasure.
Didn't do any housework today outside of taking the closes out of the dryer.
No wood working today.
I think this mornings incense was cinnamon but not sure.
Got three things in today. I got my SSD drive and a coffee cup as a free gift from Rockler. Might get something in from eBay tomorrow. Checked on my orders from Rockler. My CNC router has shipping. I don't know about my compact router. Checked and it said it was oversold today. Might not get it for awhile. Didn't order anything.
Nothing to watch in the launch department.
I think I will put up the car now.

I put the new SSD into my new/old computer and loaded Linux Mint as the operating system. Had one hick up though. Something about my computer using RST (Rapid Storage Technology) and I needed to turn that off. The link they gave lead me to a sight that was full of technical details and editing thinks like the registry. Wasn't in the least bit helpful and was extremely complicate. Found a YouTube video that was less than two minute long that showed me how to do it. A simple as clicking one button in the set. After that the install went fine. So my New/Old Computer now has Linux Mint as the operating system I am going to keep the original SSD with the Windows operating system on it.
No junk calls today.
