Almost. Thunder and clouds but no rain.

Thought for sure we were going to get rain today. Even looked like it was heading our way on radar but somehow managed to split in two and pass on either side of us. So bottom line we didn't get any rain today. Was certainly hoping I wouldn't have to water today but waited as late as I could and then watered my new sod. Looking like it is going to do Okay. Still a few areas that look questionable but might still make it. Going to keep it well watered. Looks like a decent chance of rain for the next two days and then it is forecast to turn hot and dry. More lawn watering unless we manage to be under some kind of scattered thundershower. Looks like the rain chance starts to go up again next Tuesday. My outside temperature gauge reports that is is 85°F with 81% humidity. Got to compare it against the official temperature at the airport. There it is 84°F with 83% humidity. Did do a little wood working in the shop today. Got too hot really quick and had to come inside. Did a little bit more tonight and a lot better but still warm and humid.

Got two more items in today from eBay. Got my little speakers and my four position USB power supply. Now only have two items left to come in from eBay. Not expecting anything tomorrow from eBay. Don't know when I will get my Houston Museum of Natural Science auction win. Getting it mailed to me. Nothing on my wood or my Dietz electric lamp. My HEB delivery is coming in on Friday. Added a couple of items to it this afternoon. Just added one more item. Still have tomorrow to add items.

Not much in the way of housework today. Rarely do too much. Really don't mess up just a lot. I did my usually kitchen duty. Not much else.

I can remember that this mornings incense burn was Dragon's Blood. Always seem to remember that.

No bills paid today.

No lap cat today. Twist was missing in my lap but he did sleep with me part of last night. Fozzy snuggled with me while I was taking a nap. Now have Fozzy as a lap cat.

Sipping some adult beverage.

Working on the code for my Binary clock. For project work and wood working combined I worked on the Binary Clock Frame. Should finish that tomorrow. That will leave just a bit more wiring and the software before I am finished with the Binary clock. Taken a long time to finish it.

Gold still hanging out about where it was yesterday. Crude doing about the same. A good ways below its 52 week high but haven't seen any change in gas prices.

Got the shop sorted tonight. Charged the car a little bit but I thought it was going to rain so I stopped. Got to put the car up. Don't think I am going out for a drive tonight.

Fozzy is looking comfortable and asleep. Settled in deep.

September 1st today. Days. Should now be thinking hard about when I am going to order my New Bolt EUV. Next week.

Checking on whiskey delivery. Lots of places but none of them have the Cognac I want.

The car is put up. Didn't go for a drive.

I think that is going to do it for tonight.
