Three days and no luck. No rain.

Was hot and dry today and not a drop of rain to be seen, heard or felt. And tomorrow looks like it is going to be pretty much the same. Not much chance of rain and hot. Change to be felt on Wednesday and Thursday as the rain chance goes up and the temperature drops a few degrees. Nothing really impressive as far as rain chance goes until well into next week but it is the weather and is subject to change. Did do some work in the shop today. Not too bad but as usual on days like this I don't spend just a lot of time in the shop. Gets warm really quick. My outside temperature gauge says it is 86°F with 70% humidity. Now to look at the official temperature at the airport which reports it is 86°F with 72% humidity. A little closer agreement tonight.

Got three things in today. Got my D to AA adapter, at least I think it is my wood clock kit and my 24 AWG flexible wire. Looking promising to get maybe three items in. Well, four. My wood is suppose to be delivered tomorrow. The other items are eBay items. Still don't know the status of my Dietz electric lamp. Did order something else on eBay. I ordered some Lucite green rod. Going to see if that might work in my Binary clock version one.

Twist made it a lap cat evening. Kind of rare for him and I wish I could have kept him longer. But my legs gave out and it was lunch time. Also Fozzy snuggle with me during my short nap this evening. Really a sweet kitty and has just about taken over the kitchen island.

No bill paid today. At least not yet. I am going to take the lawn care bill to the mail tonight along with my membership renewal to Costco. A good reason to go out for a drive. Haven't been out in a while.

Got four junk calls today. About right to start the week.

I think the incense of the day this morning was cinnamon.

For housework today I did my kitchen duty and ran the dishwasher. Haven't put them up yet. Put a load of T-shirts in the laundry and have them in the dryer. Will run it tonight because running the dryer pulls in hot air as it vents to the outside. So don't like to run it when it is really hot outside.

Didn't do any woodworking today although I am building my next project in my head. Need to get to Visio and start drawing plans.

For project work I replace the one outlet USB on my solar system with a two outlet USB. Cut a plexiglass top for the new Raspberry Pi 4 and installed a camera. Going to test it out and see if I can take pictures with it. Soldered the ground strip to all of the current limiting resistors on the Binary clock version 1. Tested to make sure they all work.

Only watched the Manifest tonight. Got too into it to change to The Flash. Added some YouTube videos to complete my viewing pleasure for today.

Gold is holding its place in $1800 an ounce. Crude seems to have stalled. Not much movement lately.

Should work on my HEB Delivery and get it finished. Probably want to release it for this Friday.

Got some tools out today. Need to sort those so I can put the car up. Going out for a drive to mail some items.

Haven't checked the mail yet. Will do that when I get back.

Nothing too soon to watch launch. Well, something in two days. Going to be carried live by the Everyday Astronaut. About 8:00 on September 2nd.

Tomorrow will be the last day of August. Days.

Ordered some poplar for my project. Build the dust frames from it. Can get it delivered free. Plywood cost to be delivered.

No dessert tonight. Had dessert for lunch though. Pecan Pie.

Labor day coming up next week. Would be a day off from work.

Probably need to make my hand soap this week. Have enough of everything now.
