Another dry and hot day. It did look like we got some decent cloud cover at times but didn't come close to getting any rain. Didn't even see any of the popup thundershower around. Does look like it is going to stay that way until way into next week. Hot. Dry. Then the rain chances pick up again. Had to have just a little summer I guess. It has been warm and humid but it seems for the most part it has been a little bit below or normal summer here. Not too cool at the moment. My outside temperature gauge says it is 86°F with 70% humidity. So still warm and muggy outside. The airport reports that it is 84°F with 73% humidity. Not much better there. Only did a minimal amount of work in the shop and that was just to cut a few pieces of plastic on my mini table saw.
Got my glazier points in today. Haven't used them yet to finish my picture framing. Nothing else. Did place an order for some more Greenies for the cats. Might get something in tomorrow but probably get it Monday. Did make another impulse buy of wood clock kit. This one says it doesn't need any glue. Lots of parts and it looks like the tolerance may be a lot more forgiving than on my other clock kit. Should get it in next Tuesday based on the tracking.
Figured out how to fix my tent poles that were too short. Was thinking about ordering some longer ones but my fix will essentially be free. Just need to use my lather and drill. Should work.
Hearing fireworks from the ball park. It is Friday night so it must be a home game. I wonder what it would take to be hired by the people that put those on. Would be fun to do. The finale can be quite loud. Their season is probably close to being over.
This is a premium channel free preview weekend. Epix and Showtime. Watching a little of it.
That was the finale. Loud as usual.
The launch I meant to watch this morning but forgot about was postponed until tomorrow. About the same time. Got to set my alarm. Not much have that for over a week.
For viewing pleasure today I watched more of my Netflix series, YouTube videos and The Premium Channel Free Preview.
Had my cheese sandwich today.
No bills paid.
And I forgot again what incense I burned this morning.
The third day for the landscaping. Almost done but ran out of grass. Should look better but I have to water now because I want my new grass to survive.
Gold is holding in the upper quarter of $1700 an ounce. Crude is having a bad time. Slid back further today. Has lost a lot of ground.
The car is already put up. Didn't get it out today.
Kind of tired tonight. Did Okay. Always seem to be depressed when I get up. And felt it again this afternoon.
For housework today I did my kitchen duty and vacuumed the hall.
No wood working today.
For project work I made an extension cord from my battery towers to my radio. Worked on the connectors for my binary clock and finished securing the LED's into the display. Still have the 5 mm ones to go yet.

Added a couple more items to my HEB Delivery order. Splurged on some pecan pit. My highest order yet. Got a few singly expensive items though.
Only a day or two until the next full moon.
Don't know if the landscaper will work tomorrow.
