Happened again today. Thundershower rain.
Aug. 13th, 2021 10:13 pmGot more rain today. Just about like yesterday. A couple of kind of short showers. The type with more thunder than shower. but at least it does keep things watered to some degree. Just been lucky enough to be under them. Jus the sea breeze type of showers. Can see them develop just onshore and them move inland. Can get rather loud with all the associated thunder. Nice to get the rain though even though they are rather brief showers. Long enough to pause my day and lay down a listen to the rain on my sky light. Right now my outside temperature gauge says it is about 84°F with 79% humidity. Did some work in the shop but the humidity only allowed for a little time out there. Now for the official temperature to be found at the airport. According to that it is 82°F with 70% humidity. Now for the look ahead. It seems the high chance of rain has shifted towards Sunday and several days following that. Tomorrow still has a decent chance of rain.
Didn't order anything today. Got my car power cord in today. Tested it out in the car and it is just a fit. didn't realize that the plug in for it was right on the dash. Clearly labeled lighter. Back in the day when every car had a very prominent cigarettes' lighter. Now those are just power outlets. Looking at the tracking data I might get two items in tomorrow. Don't think at the rate I am going I will ever completely clear all of my orders.
Today was Friday the thirteenth. August is getting close to being half over. The full moon this month is on the 22nd.
Burned incense today. I seem to recall that it was vanilla. At least that is what my memory tells me. Could be wrong.
Got two junk calls today. No bills paid.
No lap cat as of now. Missing Fozzy. He has snuggled with me the past two nights.
Did better today. Did have one episode of anxiety. Just the tiniest things can set one off. Feeling a bit depressed tonight. Seems to always be the case but not like some night.
Going to try to keep it together tonight look enough to take the car out for a few gallons of cast and a bit of a start, run and drive. Don't know how good my full gauge is on it. Will put in a few gallons and see how it changes and will keep the base line as the new refill point. Got plenty of ice for my home made air-conditioner.
Tired tonight. Ready to go over what I did today. And partly because of the depression.
Did my kitchen duty today. Sorted, folded and put away a load of whites. Vacuumed the guest bedroom. Some housework Never really do a lot on any day.
Had my cheese sandwich to keep up the tradition.
For viewing pleasure today I started a new Netflix movie, watched more episodes of The Flash and mixed in a few YouTube Videos. Meant to watch some of my new Netflix DVD movie but didn't. Checked this morning and it is not a premium channel free preview weekend.
Gold seemed to have bounced back a bit. Now in the upper part of $1700 an ounce. Crude seems to have run out of steam for the movement. Not moving much. A good ways away from another 52 week high.
More postponements. Nothing too close for a watchable launch. A date giving but I will keep checking.
For project work today I did some battery swaps and charging. And at least planned my prototype for the Binary clock.
For wood working today I hung up my new wooden clock but not working. Got the weights filled up. Moved some pictures around and returned one to it original position. I did some more work on the inverted generator cart. Got the handles ready to install. Still have more to do on it. Really need to get my tie down straps in to finish it.
Thinking at about 11:00 I will shift vehicles and take the car out. Don't know how much of a drive I will take.
Got the recycle bin out tonight ready for tomorrow. Just about full. No trash bin though.
Been looking at converting the car to throttle body fuel injections. Got to find somebody that can do the work if I can supply the kit. Probably could do it myself but it would mean a lot of work under the car.
Couldn't get the car to start. Not going to take it back in right away. Going to let it set but have ordered some starting fluid. See if I can start it on that. Guess I didn't want to go out for drive in it anyway.
I think that is going to do it for tonight.
