Got some more rain today.
Aug. 5th, 2021 10:27 pmWe did get a brief shower. Mostly just long enough to get everything wet. Don't think we got enough to register in my rain gauge. Haven't looked though. Did pause and lay down and listen the rain on my skylight. One of the things I do enjoy. Wasn't long though. Still good to do. Was just a bit cooler but it felt like the humidity more than made up for it. Tried to do some in the shop and probably passed what was comfortable. But got it done. The rain chance for tomorrow is fairly decent. Much higher than average. Looks like the rain might start mid morning. General not very accurate but it is the weather. Gary hasn't gotten any rain in two weeks. Not that far from me and surprising how conditions can vary so much. My outside temperature gauge says it is about 82°F with 68% humidity. Cooler and lower humidity than last night. Officially it is 81°f with 77% humidity at the airport. Temperatures don't look all that bad. Hot yes but not close to the extremes we have seen in the past.
Didn't get anything in today but I did order three more things. Two different types of 5 volt stereo amplifiers and a 3-48 drill and tap. Got my registration in from the Department of Motor Vehicles. Haven't put it on the car yet. Will make all my cars legal. Won't be all that long before I have to do it again. At least with the new car it will come with a two year and I won't have to get my leased car inspected. Still will have to get the truck and car inspected though.
Quite puzzled. I used 3-48 bolts on a project but can't find a 3-48 tap anywhere. I have a 3-56 tap but the 3-48 bolts won't work on that. Not sure what I did. Must be a 3-48 tap somewhere or 3-48 bolts but I can't find either. Just Don't know what I did.
For house work today I did my kitchen duty and a good bit of vacuuming. I vacuumed the halls and the main guest bedroom.
Had my slice of red velvet cake for dessert tonight. Been a long time since I have had any kind of cake.
Did some wood work in support of my projects.
For project work put my clock together completely. Not working but I will hand it on the wall and work to get it running as some future project. Drilled the colons and base line lights for my Binary Clock. Still don't know how I am going to do the main light. Still probably the best thing to do is to 3D print them. Got top get my printer setup and learn TinkerCAD. Should be easy to make exactly what I need after that.
got a learning curve though. Still need to work on the software for my Binary Clock.
Tomorrow is cheese sandwich day.
No bills paid today and as usual I don't remember the incense burn of the day but I did burn incense.
No lap cat today but twist snuggled up with me as I was taking a nap and Fozzy laid next to me with my arm around him as I was watching my movie tonight. Both just supper sweet kitties.
I was refunded the cost of my missing item from my HEB Delivery.
Got one annoying call today. And one call on my cell phone that I rejected. Didn't show as a contact or even a local number.
Had my first blueberry pop tart today. Really good.
Felt pretty good today. Still had a few periods of depression. A moderate one just before dinner. Can't ever seem to go all day with out some sort of down episode. Not a good start in the morning. Bad dreams and a sleepless morning. So tired of the dreams.
Finished listening to Ashley's latest pod cast. About roses. Got something I could distill rose water if I ever had organic roses.
Gold is just barely hanging on to $1800 an ounce. Crude seems to be paused at the moment. Not sure where is it going to head.
For viewing pleasure today I watched more episodes of The Flash, a Netflix movie and a Netflix DVD. Got to get through that and send it back. Had it for awhile. First night I have set down to a movie and was joined by Fozzy who seems to enjoy the company.
Falcon 9 up next but still a few days away.
Need to sort the shop and put up the car. Got a lot out today.
Think I will do that now.
Got the car put up. Didn't really consider going out for a drive. Want to take my Car out and see how well my home made air conditioner works.
Got Fozzy as a lap cat now. His fur is really soft.
Tonight is Thursday night which means I should check just after midnight to see if it is a premium channel free preview weekend.
I think that it going to do it for tonight.
