More heat and no rain.

Was another warm one today and nothing at all in the way of rain. Didn't check the radar to see if there were any kind of popup thundershowers. The one time I did check it looked like the state was pretty much rain free. Don't really see anything in the forecast that has an impressive rain chance. Temperatures are going to be on the warm side. Typical for this time of year. But not extreme like they can be. So just get ready for summer to be here for awhile and maybe with little to no rain. After such a wet start to this month it looks like things might dry out for a while. Got my outside temperature gauge working. Seems like it was just the batteries but I haven't moved it outside yet. So for a report of the temperature we have to use the one at the airport. The report 84°F with 76% humidity. About the same for nights now.

Got my tree trimmed today. And trimmed it was. Really opened it up. Expensive and it took them about an hour and half to get it done. Hopefully that will last for a while. Might not have to do it again anytime soon. Always feel a bit sad about doing that to my tree. Bit and beautiful and providing a lot of shade and habitat for the neighborhood squirrels and birds. Was starting to hang to low over the street.

The lawn company came today. Fortunately after the tree trimmers were gone. Got my bill from them today. Need to write a check, address and envelope and mail it. Going to be an expensive week. Still haven't heard anymore from my car or from my Landscaper. Going to be another two expensive items.

Did my kitchen duty tonight and vacuumed the guess bedroom and the dining/living room. Cleaned a bit more in the bathroom. Changed the air conditioning filter and cleaned all the dust and cobwebs off of the vent cover. Probably the first time since I have lived here.

Got three things in today from eBay. I got my diamond coated rasp, my resistors and one other thing. I haven't opened it so I am not sure what it was. So I should be down to just four open items on eBay. With my resistors I can finish my emergency light. Don't have the other items I need to finish my other two projects.

Didn't do any woodworking today. I did sweep out the shop. The cats tend to lay down in the saw dust. Don't know why. Really need to organize my shop. Just too hot out there now to make a serious effort.

For project work I worked on my binary clock and got all the LED Holders in place. Built kind of a junkyard special emergency light. Out of older projects. Not particularly good looking. Installed a new amplifier on my touch screen computer board. Meant to write code today but didn't.

Got all my bread in the freeze now.

I guess paying my trimmer counts as a bill paid.

Thinking it was Dragon's Blood for the incense burn of the day.

Got a bunch of junk calls. Four at least. Two were no one there.

Gold is now in the upper part of $1700 an ounce. Crude seems steady. Doesn't look like it has moved much in the last several days.

Finished my Netflix movie today. Got to find another one. Added YouTube videos for viewing pleasure. Thought I might watch a bit of my movie tonight. Did my kitchen duty instead. But it is out of the way and I don't have to do it tomorrow.

The car is out. Under recall and now they are going to replace the batteries. Just have to wait until it is my turn. Don't know how long it will take.

Probably going to have to put in my HEB Delivery order sooner this time. Think I can make it into next week. Didn't order my usual load of frozen food. Seemed to be well stocked on the rare items that I need.

Looks like the dry spell of watchable launches is going to continue for a while.

Will put up stuff and get the car in the shop. Don't think I am going out for a drive tonight.

Got the car put up. Feels really humid outside.
