Elevated chance but didn't turn into much rain.

Had a really high chance of rain today and I guess it was right as we did get some rain but it was basically just a short rain early this morning. Most of the rest of the day was sunny and mild. Very good rain chances for the next two days. And a number of elevated chances to follow that. Also going to be unusually cool for the next few days also. A good ways below normal for this time of year. There is a slow moving low pressure to the south of us and is moving north. Going to bring us more rain. Don't know if it is tropical in nature or not but watching the radar loop it does look like there is some circulation centered south of Corpus Christi. Looks like one of the rain bands is going to train over us starting about 3:00 am. Probably lasting a long time judging by the forecast. My outside temperature gauge died today. The batteries have gone dead. Replaced with rechargeable but didn't know if they would work or not since regular batteries are 1.5 volts and rechargeables are only 1.2 volts. Working fine though. Outside is about 79°F with 89% humidity. And at the airport it is 78°F with 84% humidity. Did do some work in the shop. Was kind of late in the day so didn't do much.

Was expecting some eBay deliveries but nothing happened. Did order one more item. So another one to the list. I did get my Houston Museum of Natural Science auction win in today and it is very nice. The amber is quite a bit larger that I was expecting and the price tag on it is $50 more than I paid for it so I guess I got a pretty good bargain. Don't know what I am going to do with it outside of just having it and eventually giving it as a gift. Probably will get my speakers in tomorrow. Don't know about my after eating treats. Tracking seems to have stooped. I hope they make it too. Thinking about just buying me a mini table saw. Found a really nice one. And you get what you pay for. Not nearly as cheap as about every other one.

Today's incense was jasmine. Fozzy has been missed as a lap cat as of late. Don't know why. Haven't had a lap cat today. Didn't pay any bills today. Didn't get any junk calls today but did get two scam calls. I guess I got on enough do not call list that now I will starting just getting the scam calls.

Did some housework today. Cleaned the kitchen. Got just about all of my project stuff out of the kitchen and ran the dishwasher. Haven't put up the dishes yet. Vacuumed the hall.

No real project work. Trying to get all my batteries sorted out and charging station worked up for them.

I did cut out for my small monitor and speakers today. Going to make a small computer out if it. Complete with speakers, radio and monitor.

Tired tonight. Only moderately depressed tonight. Manageable.

Viewing pleasure today was YouTube Videos, my Netflix series and episodes of Gold Rush.

Gold is just touching $1800 an ounce. Crude really backed off any 52 week high today. Fell back a good bit. Now has some ground to cover to make another 52 week high.

Been a week since my last HEB delivery.

Got an appointment with my ophthalmologist tomorrow. Just want to get it over and get back home.

No more word on the car. Still hasn't been inspected yet.

Lawn company came and mowed today. Was thinking it was going to be too wet but they seemed to manage. Nothing on my lawn repair yet. Still waiting on that.

Heard some fireworks today.

Got sort out the shop as usual and put the car up. A nightly event.

Don't know if I got paid today. Going to check. Didn't get paid today. Never do know exactly when it is going to happen. Can be really late some months. Will keep a look out for it.
