Rain gauge overflowed with rain.
May. 24th, 2021 10:20 pmGot more rain today. Can't really say how much as I forgot to empty my rain gauge and it overflowed. So we have had just plenty of rain in the last several days. Haven't put my outside temperature gauge back outside yet so just have to use the temperature at the airport for the temperature here. And at the airport the temperature is 77°F with 88% humidity. So another humid night. Checking in with the hourly forecast the rain may start again somewhere around 7:00 tomorrow and last well into the afternoon. And tomorrow looks like it is going to be the last day of what could be called moderate temperatures. Going to be warm now. Probably going to limit my time in the shop. Today was enough just to have a fan running.
Got three things in today. Not sure about two of them as I haven't opened any of them. One I know for sure is my Raspberry Pi Screen. One of the other two might be the gold back that I ordered. I will open them tomorrow and find out. Also based on tracking I might get two eBay items in. One might be my saponification agent. If so I can make soap this week. Also, tomorrow is the scheduled delivery of my laser projector. Have to find dome 4K programming on NetFlix to test it with. Suppose to be here after about 12:30 tomorrow. Didn't order anything from eBay but I did order me another Rockler Router bit. Thought I had a pattern following bit and I know I did but couldn't find it anywhere today. So another one is on the way. Extending out further clearing out all my ordered items.
Worked some more on my HEB Delivery order. Restocking on a few items just to have them on hand. Not out of them but just want to have a backup ready to go. Not doing too bad right now on food. Think I could go into the end of the week without too much problem.
So nothing to report as far as housework and nothing to report as far as project work. Don't really know how time goes by but it does. Well, I did defrost my small refrigerator. Was getting iced up.
I did do some woodworking. I finished trimming the back axel and got it to fit. Mounther the bearings and got the wheel in place and I think everything spaced just about right. Tomorrow I think I will build some new buss bars and try to power it up. The back half of my tricycle will be basically done. Still have a lot of work to finish the front half but right now I don't have the materials and I am running out or favorable weather to work in the shop. I don't plan on ordering the material to finish it until the season starts again. The next art car parade is a year away so I have just a bit more time to work on it. Not sure how I am going to make the front end work anyway. Building a prototype small radio for my radio project. I can 3d print the knobs I need. And I have kind of a concept on how to make the stations change on the radio.
Gold is still managing to hang on to it spot in the fourth quarter of $1800 an ounce. Cruder made a nice run at its 52 week high today but didn't quite make it.
Twist was an invited lap cat today. Loves to get attention and will get into my lap when I sit down to pet him.
Tired tonight. Still have to sort out the shop and put up the car. Don't feel at all like going out for a drive tonight.
Did the truck start run and drive today. Did a rather long loop today. Got to get through the gas and then put about half a tank of fresh gas in. Use it before it gets too old.
Looks like the Falcon 9 launch on the 26th is still on. Hasn't been postponed.
Need to listen to Ashley Podcast.
Watched YouTube and Netflix today for viewing pleasure.
Got three junk calls today and one annoying call.
No bills paid today. I think I have a Trugreen bill to pay. Going to check. Just checked and I don't.
Landscaper didn't call today. Don't know what it is going to cost to get my lawn fixed.
Going to pause and sort the shop. Be back soon.
Got that done but the car is still out. Will do that in just a bit.
