The rain ended yesterday and left me with a total of about 4 and three tenths of an inch for the entire episode. Didn't get anything today and the sky was almost completely sunny all day long. Starting to warm up. I noticed that it reached 86°F today. Don't know what my outside temperature gauge is tonight. For some reason I am not getting a reading. Will check it tomorrow. Sometimes the cats will play with it and knock it off. Or it might be the battery. Been a while since I changed it. Tomorrow looking even warmer but it should cool down one last time with a high chance of rain on Tuesday. Must remember to empty my rain gauge tomorrow. Some relatively cool nights ahead but it looks like that is going to come to an end this week. So, woodworking season ends and summer starts.
My waiting list didn't last long. Last night I ordered some screw hole caps. Going to use those on my mirror. And I ordered some more of my snack food. Got to plan ahead because I do hate when I run out of that.
Read LOL Cats today. Always look forward and enjoy that. No bills paid today. I should pay my lawn company and mail that bill. I might do that tonight since I haven't had the car out in a few days.
Did the truck start, run and drive today. Did a really long loop. Probably the second longest I have had the truck out since I took it to be inspected. Got to drive it occasionally. Probably put the rest of my generator gas in it this week. Got to run my inverter generator under load too. Not exactly sure what I am going to use for a load though. Might just use it to power my shop fans for awhile. Need to use or drain all the gasoline out of it. Got my transfer switch ready to go and might actually install it soon. Just connect it to lights mostly. Probably just use four of the circuits. At least it will be installed. Going to use the Kearney's instead of wire nuts to connect the wires. More secure connection that way. Just got to tape them up well.
Nothing in the way of project work tomorrow. Probably going to change that tomorrow. Should at least do some straightening of my project table. Going to probably cut the base plate for my radio project just to get some idea of my starting point.
For housework today I did a load of whites and have them in the dryer. Vacuumed one of the guest bed rooms and moved some furniture. Going to move the contents from my old scrap built chest of drawers into my new dresser. Did just a bit of cleaning in the shop. Going to do more of that in the coming week.
For woodworking today I essentially finished my dresser. Pretty much decided against trying to cut the arc in the top of the window frame. Can't really come up with a good way to do that without doing it just free hand. Want something smooth. Got the trim piece install and stained and finished the mirror frame and got it install. At least have the brackets. Don't know when I will get the mirror fitted. I am going to let a professional to that. I do plan to pin the corners of the frame to give it just a bit more strength with some mechanical fasteners. It will have a heavy mirror in it and I want it to be plenty strong. I will use the wood caps that I ordered last night on eBay to hide the holes. Should be a nice accent to the frame.
Thinking I will clean the table tomorrow and do some work on my light sequencer. Let that project languish forever now. Really not much left to do on it. Just reconnect it to the computer since the cats chewed some of the wires into. Then get to play with it. Need to learn more python to make it do what I want it to do. Like do infinite loops.
The cats do like the new chair. Always interesting to see which one claims it. Sometimes Fozzy will be mean and force his brother to move. Twist doesn't do that. Fozzy is in the chair at the moment.
Had to fix my garage door today. For some reason it wasn't closing. Checked everything I could think of but still couldn't get it to close. Finally looked at one of the sensors and noticed it was bent out of alignment. Just a little bending and it worked again. Don't know how it got bent but I am always moving stuff close to it. I guess over time it just got enough out of alignment to stop working. Glad that was all it was.

Still have to sort out the shop and put up the car. I think I am going to pay my lawn company though. Need to write and check, envelope and mail. All that.
Mailed my lawn company bill. The mail drop box was full. It usually is on Sunday nights. Had to go inside to mail it. Don't really like to do that.
Gold is just below the fourth quarter of $1700 an ounce. Crude is holding pretty much steady. On my drive tonight I noticed that gas prices at the stations I think to check are up bout four cents a gallon.
Still looking at the 4th for the next launch. Falcon 9.
