Might call that rain.
Mar. 29th, 2021 10:15 pmDid get something close to rain today. At least could see drops appearing on my windshield while I was out for a drive this afternoon. And maybe a bit more earlier while I was moving my HEB delivery from the front porch to the garage. Just more of a spattering of rain. A good chance or rain both tomorrow and Wednesday. Right now my outside temperature gauge says it is about 64°F with 69% humidity. Officially it is 62°F with 77% humidity. Now looking at Wednesday, Thursday and Friday getting kind of cold. Both Thursday and Friday are only going to have highs in the 60's. Right now I have my Aladdin lit in my office. Take off just a bit of the cool in here.
Wednesday is the last day of March. Last night was the full moon and it is probably still going to be mostly full tonight. I still haven't put up the car yet so I will check and see if I can spot the moon tonight.
Not an eBay delivery day today although tracking said I would get something today. Now it looks like tomorrow. Did order something today from eBay so it was a half eBay day. I also got my mailbox post today. No tracking or notices at all. It just showed up. Didn't really like the design so I modified it to look more like my existing mailbox post. Also cut off about the bottom 8 inches of the post as I don't intend to put it that deep in the ground. Part of woodworking. Not going to set it in concrete. Probably going to pour this Other cat litter I got as a substitution around it. And just pack it with the dirt I remove from the hole. The existing one has lasted almost 25 years so maybe I will get close to that out of this one although I don't expect it to matter.
Got a dental appointment tomorrow and it looks like it is going to be raining. Got to make this one.
For the nightly gold and crude report with the ship now unstuck. Gold fell close to the bottom border of $1700 an ounce. Crude even with the ship now unstuck and traffic moving through the canal crude gained a noticeable amount today. Still not really close to its 52 week high.
For house work today I managed to sort, fold and put away my load of whites. And that was just about it. Had intended to unload the dishwasher but didn't make it.
For project work today I moved my FM module to a different Raspberry pi and started it. Modified the programs just a little to turn into different stations. Going to remove all the incremental jumps and just program in the stations. Maybe program in it to print a list of station and the control letter. I think I know how to do that.
For wood working I mentioned my mailbox post modifications. I also cut the rails for the side panels and squared up the panel inserts. For tomorrow I think I am going to make all the tenons in the rails and Maybe if I have time try to cut the mortises too. A lot to ask of an hour. I went through my poplar today and I am going to have more than enough to make all of my dust frames. It is actually really nice looking wood. I should do a project out of poplar one of these days. The company that I bought it from seems to send just first class wood. A little thicker than standard but probably a lot more consistent. Easy enough to compensate for the thicker wood. Know I am going to have to get some more oak. Don't have enough to make all the drawers and the bottom skirt board.
Fozzy has settled in as a lap cat right now.
Got my HEB delivery items in today. On time as usual and almost couldn't get it all to fit in my freeze. With some creative stuffing and rearranging I got it all to fit. Need to be more careful because I kind of ordered duplicates of stuff I already had. Still nice not to have to physically shop and just get it delivered.
Not too tired tonight. The shop was really a mess after working on the mailbox post. Plus all the wood I got down for the dresser. Still thinking about getting a mirror made for it.

No bills to pay today. Need to put the car on charge tonight
Got my oil lamp night light along with a candle lit in the kitchen.
Probably going to put out my trash bin tomorrow.
