Rain, finally.
Nov. 25th, 2020 10:27 pmNot that it was really much. It did wake me up but I don't know how long it lasted. I did have some in the bottom of my rain gauge but not enough to measure. I need to weigh my gauge and then get some idea of how much rain we got. The concrete had a puddle but it looked like the area under my solar panels didn't hardly get wet at all. Going to get cool tonight. Was out in my tent earlier and it felt pretty good under my blankets. Tomorrow is supposed to be a bit warmer than today. Easy to get lost in time in my tent. The forecast does look like it is going to be a wet weekend. So tomorrow I will take my tent down again and probably leave it down for the weekend. It looks like Monday is going to get really cold. Almost down to freezing. Probably will get a frost if the sky is clear. Finally going to get seasonal temperatures. Nothing in the way of dew or fog it looks like tonight. The humidity is two low.
Today wasn't an eBay day for delivery but I did order something. Nothing from an outside non-eBay company either. Have a lot of outstanding deliveries. The mail person must hate my address as much as I order.
Nothing in the way of rocket launches until the 28th. Don't know if I can watch some of them. Foreign launches.
Got my Aladdin lamp lit in my office tonight. Warming it up nicely. Burns through a lot of Kerosene. Can order it on line though. Have to order five gallons at a time to get it delivered. Looks like it might turn out to be a cold rest of the winter.
Paid a paperless bill tonight. Still think I have some that are still mailed but I don't know. Much more convenient.
Tomorrow is Thanksgiving and just like that it will be the 26th of November. Full moon coming on the 30th and colder weather.
Didn't do any housework or project work today but did do some wood working. Also stained some of my raised panels. Want to do that before I install them. Just used a stain that I had on hand. Decided I liked it after all. Should look really nice once I get the finish on it.
Have to take a break and sort out the shop so I can put up the car.
Got the shop sorted and the car put up. I don't think I am going to do too much in the shop tomorrow until later in the day. Let the neighbors have a quiet thanksgiving. Just want to get a start on the top and the guide to finish the raised panels. Maybe just some cleaning and putting away tools. Get my bench so I can see the top again.
Tonight's viewing pleasure was more episodes of The Flash and more of the same YouTube videos. Did catch the tail end of Nova talking about the fire at the Notre Dame Cathedral. Very interesting the extent they are going to for restoration. I think if the original builder would have had access to the materials we have today that is what they would have used.
Gold is still down but it looks like crude hit a new recent high. Moving up finally. Don't know how long the gas prices are going to stay where the are with this recent increase in crude price. I think the markets are going to be closed tomorrow.
Did do my deep listening tonight. Heard the beeping from a truck or something backing up. And the usually. Looked like a really clear sky tonight so probably going to cool of more.
Been burning my night light oil lamp all day. No candles or incense though. Fozzy has been a persistent lap cat today.
Warm in my office. My Aladdin really does good job of that.
I think that is going to do it for tonight.
