Drew another day with no rain.
Nov. 21st, 2020 10:08 pmOf course today had no rain but the forecast is starting to show a number of days towards the end of November that are now showing a much higher rain chance. And the non Autumn temperatures are going to continue until pretty much the end of the month. Has been a warm Autumn so far and it looks like it is almost going to make it into December. The house did get warm today. Really warm enough to turn on the air conditioner but I didn't. The fired heater did turn on last night and into this morning. Going to get cool tonight to so I am just going to leave the air conditioner set to heat and probably leave it that way. The house doesn't get uncomfortably warm so I just go with it.
Fozzy hasn't been missing many opportunities to get into my lap. He is here now and looks like he is pretty much already asleep. Don't have anything coming up so he can stay for a good long time tonight. He has such soft fur but he is a medium hair cat. Don't know if I would call it long. Not really like Maine coon long.
Today was an eBay day. Got a package in for my wood working. Didn't order anything today. Still have one outstanding item on eBay and two for other companies. Might soon be a rare time when I am not expecting anything to be delivered. Really kind of rare for that to happen but it does on occasion.
Nothing new or unusual to report on sounds of the night. Not bad out in the tent tonight but I was there early and didn't stay long. Still going to get on the cool side tonight. The dew hadn't fallen yet. Last night it had and really covered the tent. I could see drops on the inside but it never did drip.
I watched the launch of a Falcon 9 today. Almost missed it. Managed to get there to watch with about 30 seconds to spare. Also part of my viewing pleasure was more Episodes of The Flash. Still have a lot of the series left to go so will be having it for viewing pleasure for sometime into the future.
Gold and crude didn't trade today so no report on those. Haven't been very exciting lately. Both have seemed to settle into a range. Gold high but not $2000 an ounce and crude low. Checked my platinum coin merchant and he has probably more platinum coins available than I have seen in a long time. I guess supply is catching up just a little faster.
Did a good bit of wood working today. First I have done in a while. Just about got every thing I can glue together done until I can get all the panels done, stained and finished. Want to do all that without them in the frames. Didn't do any project work today or house work. Got to clean up the kitchen tomorrow and finish the laundry I stated. Really need to dedicate tomorrow to that. Most of the wood work is just going to be gluing up panels. Just a lot of waiting and not much work.
Did the truck start, run and drive as it was the every other day. Soon I think I will add my generator gasoline to my truck tank. Hopefully this late in the season I won't need it. I think it has enough room to hold all of it. Get to delay taking it to the gas station to fill up.
No email bills today. Just have to wait and see which ones are still paper and get them set up to be paperless too. Just less paper to handle.
I did put my trash bin out yesterday. Picked up. Needed to get it out. Probably put out a recycle bin next week.
And today is the 21st. November is moving past us. The following Monday will be the end of November. Next week is Thanksgiving.
Took a break from writing my entry to put up the shop so I could put my car up tonight. Went out for a short drive and checked gas prices. The few stations that I check showed no change and have been stable for a few weeks now. Got the car put up but didn't put it on charge.
Going to be another Falcon 9 launch tomorrow at about 8:56 pm our time or at least it is scheduled. Seems like lately there have been fewer scrubs and delays.
Going to take a look at the Museum of Natural History's designer jewelry sale. Might be having this instead of another auction. Took a look and some very nice items. Some very expensive items too. Found one or two I liked but a little out of my price range. Going to keep the email and might look again.
Still warm in the house and Fozzy is back in my lap. Going to be up for a while longer.
Tomorrow is LOL Cats. Got to read that. I try to never miss it.
