Maybe about a trace.
Nov. 15th, 2020 10:13 pmRain was forecast today and we did get some. Hard to really tell because about the only way I knew we got some rain was because I could see streaks of rain on the window. And that was about all we got. Just enough to see rain tracks on the windows. So not much but it was rain so I guess the forecast was right. A bit cooler tonight so I switched to the fire heater tonight and it did come on for just a few minutes. My outdoor temperature gauge says it is 57 °F and really dry. Only 41% humidity. And it matches the official temperature and humidity really well. Kind of odd to see it so dry. Means it could get really cold outside. Temperatures are starting to look a lot more like fall now. Don't know about future rain though. So this far into November I think we have only gotten a trace of rain.
Spent a bit of time in my tent tonight. Was much too cold to be out there long. Not much to report in the way of new sounds of the night. I do like to listen to the night sounds. Always seem to notice the planes flying over more out there than in the house. Obviously because they are so much louder outside. Heard voices tonight. Windy out so I could hear that flapping through the tent.
Iota has strengthened and is moving towards central America. Going to be a major hurricane at land fall. Has been a record year for storms. And possible this isn't the last one.
Not an eBay day today or an order day. It is Sunday so not likely to be an eBay day. Still have two outstanding items I am waiting on. One project item and one work working item.
No junk calls today. Kind of rare to get them on Sunday anyway.
Fozzy was the owner of my lap today. Twist hasn't been there in a while. Kind of looks like he is going to jump in my lap but doesn't. He still likes to snuggle a lot though.
Tonight's viewing pleasure was The Curse of Oak Island and The Walking Dead-The world beyond.
I also watched the launch of the Falcon 9 carrying four astronaut to the space station. Went smoothly. They Do make it look so easy. Landed the booster too. Going to take them 24 hours though to catch up with the space station. Lots of fun to watch them launch.
My HEB order is set for delivery at 2:00 pm tomorrow. They are always there within just a few minutes of 2:00 and then I have get every thing put away fast before all the frozen food melts. I have ice cream coming in tomorrow.
Gold is back up close to $1900 an ounce. Crude is holding in a range again. Doesn't look like it is ever going to move up much.
Missed doing all three today, House work, wood work, project work.
Fozzy is back in my lap.
Still no fiber optic work in my back yard. Their yellow and white stripes are starting to fade. Don't know why they marked them so early. Maybe they are going through my neighbors back yard. Don't know.
So November is now going to be half over. Tomorrow is the 16th. Days do go by.
Burning my night light oil lamp and a candle. Small lamp. Makes a good night light.
Don't know if my lawn company is going to come tomorrow or Tuesday this week. I think it is tomorrow.
Still a lot of rocket launches scheduled for this month.
Did read LOL Cats today.
I think that is going to do it for tonight.
