cold and dry today with no rain.

Looks like there is one more chance of rain this month next Wednesday and that looks to be about it. I think this is going to be a really dry month with if I remember right only two significant rains. Was very cool today but it looks like a warm up for the next three days and then fall looks like it has finally arrived and I might actually have to turn on the fired heater. Forecast doesn't show to get above 80°F any more. So maybe for this region Fall is finally here.

Did spend some time in my tent. Not too bad this afternoon and tonight but got cold last night. Lots of planes flying over tonight. Dogs barking. The usual loud cars and did hear a gecko chirping. Winds were calm tonight so no wind noise or tent flapping. Do so enjoy being out there. The fresh air and being outside does wonders for my spirit.

No eBay day today although I was kind of expecting something. I did place an order for three more items on eBay. Just stuff I need around the house and some parts for my Aladdin lamps. I finally installed a mantel on one just to see how bright it was. I had to put a new wick in it today. A bit tricky but once I saw the problem it went on right away. Was a bit of a struggle. Wicks tend to last a long time on the lamps. I really don't think I have put on more than two new wicks in probably the 20 or so years I have had those lamps. And of course no way to remember how it is done between times.

Did manage to get up and get all my chores done with a whole two minutes to spare to sit down and watch the launch of a Falcon 9 on a Star Link mission. Flawless as usual. They always make it look so easy. No scrub today for that one. A couple of foreign launches the next couple of days so I don't know if there will be any kind of live coverage. Then on the 28th the Electron will make another attempt.

Did the truck start, run and drive today. Pretty much dropped back to doing that every other day now. Every day is probably not necessary. I still have to run through the gasoline though to keep it from getting too old. But I don't think that is going to be a problem.

The electric car is charged. No incense today. No lap cat either.

I did do some house work today. I did a load of whites and cleaned the kitchen. The dishes are in the dishwasher. I was out of just about everything so time to do a load. Did a little project work. Opened the box on another battery module and removed the from circuit board. Don't know what it does but it doesn't look like a battery management card. I have one I need to install. Just have to figure out were all the leads go and I need to find a charger too. I might have something that will work though.

Gold and crude did not trade today so nothing to say about them.

Got my HEB delivery just right on time just like it always is. Got everything processed and put away. Only had one substitution which was a good substitution. I had no problem with it. Just wish I had some ice cream for it. I might have to include ice cream in my next HEB delivery order. Actually already started working on it. HEB will save your cart so I just add items as I think about it over several nights. It will probably be November before I get my next order.

Don't know if I will get a delivery tomorrow. Item with post office and I know sometimes they do deliver on a Sunday. Have a lot of stuff coming in now. Lots of things I decided I needed or wanted. One item from Amazon show a really long delivery time. Seems to be the case with Amazon though.

Had a few branches trimmed on my tree.

Put my trash bin out yesterday. Didn't have enough to put out my recycle bin.

Watched more of my new NetFlix series The Flash tonight. I think I am just about through season 1 and have five more seasons to go. So that should keep me in viewing pleasure for awhile.

I think that is going to do it for tonight.
