Stuck in a rain free weather pattern.
Oct. 4th, 2020 10:08 pmNo real surprise that we didn't get rain today. High pressure and dry air have built in over probably the entire area. Nothing in the forecast at all other than the usual normal rain chance and lower. Gary was talking about a fall pattern that develops when it is a La Nina year in the Pacific and he said that is the pattern we are seeing now. And probably the rest of the winter will be not far from what we are seeing now. Rather warm days and cool nights. Still some 90°F days in the forecast. Warmer than average for sure. And because of the pattern it doesn't look like anyone is getting the pop up thundershowers. Radar shows no rain over our state and every state that is around us. Probably going to be a dry and warm winter.
Well, let's see about the daily statistics. No incense today. No junk calls today. I think I got two yesterday but don't know if I mentioned that. Did get the package in today that I was expecting yesterday. I think I knew that Federal Express delivered on Sunday but didn't remember. Didn't order anything today.
Gold is trading close to $1900 an ounce and crude is still down a good bit. Not sure if it is ever really going to recover. More electric cars are going to upset the crude supply balance. I think I read where Telsa produced more cars this third quarter than they ever had. Millions of electric cars are going to reduce gasoline demand. For a system that was well balanced supply and demand that is going to upset the balance. Same supply but less demand. As for me I find it so nice to have an electric car.
No project work today or housework. I did intend to clean up the kitchen today but it didn't happen. Just about out of glasses, dishes and silverware.
Don't think I am going to add any more to my HEB order tonight. Probably finish that on Tuesday night for something like a Saturday delivery.
Just as I suspected this episode of The Walking Dead was actually the last episode of the last season. No more episodes of the walking dead until 2021 but don't know when. Was nice to finally get a conclusion to the last serious.
No real change in the Platinum coin market. Still pretty slim.
There is a Falcon 9 launch scheduled for 6:51 am tomorrow. Probably just watch that one on replay but if I am awake I will try to watch it. So far the past several launch attempts haven't had just the best track record for not getting postponed or scrubbed. I hope this one actually goes tomorrow. Must be expensive to scrub a launch and reschedule.
