For sure no rain today.

Watched as the radar showed areas of rain pass around us but nothing passed over us. So just have to add another day to those that we didn't get any rain. I guess the enhanced rain chance was right but was true for others. That is the way it goes sometimes. The rain chance does pick up on Sunday and continues for the next several days and also the day time temperatures look to be about 10°F cooler on those days too. Going to be quite a change for a few days until it warms up again but not as high as it has been. Looks like it is going to be a cool start to fall. Will really be noticeable. Tomorrow is still going to be warm.

Did my usual start, run and drive my truck today. Also went out to the gas station and very carefully filled up my truck. Should have enough gas now to do my daily drive for a while to come. I guess running daily like I do does tend to use gasoline. Still won't get even close to needing something like an oil change for a long time. The great thing about my electric. I just plug it in at home. The cost is hidden in my electric bill. So don't really even notice or much think about it.

There was a Falcon 9 Star Link mission suppose to launch today but that awful word scrubbed was used. Can't find when it was rescheduled but I think it is going to be about the same time tomorrow. I think I saw something like that. Did some digging and found it is suppose to launch tomorrow at 12:57 pm our time. Hopefully it will go this time. I always look forward to watching these launches.

Tomorrow is the traditional cheese sandwich Friday. I have all the supplies so I am in good shape for that.

Going to have enough to put out a recycle bin tomorrow. Going to be overflowing if I wait until next week. Not enough yet though to put out a trash bin.

Tonight is the night to check and see if by some remote possibility this is a premium channel free weekend. Nothing has happened in so long. Just about time for something.

Watching some more of Star Trek on CBS All Access today. I must be getting close to the end of season 2. Not much else in the way of entertainment pleasure. Don't really watch a lot of network TV outside of PBS.

Just a little over four more days until Fall is here. The Autumnal Equinox. After that the days will be shorter than the nights. I can certainly tell the Sun is more in the south now. My lower tier solar panels are shaded a good bit now but still get enough in the afternoons to keep that system's batteries mostly charged. Don't really have much longer on that set. Have to do a bit of rearranging as they only charge on 24 volt. So to reconfigure the system they will only have about 30 watts to use for charging. At least will keep them charged but really reduce any kind of load.

I still wish I could make my back yard into a solar collection system. I could fit probably about 1500 watts of solar panels along the back fence. Maybe even rig a grid tie system from that but I think it is just going to have to be a wish. It would make life difficult for my lawn company. And probably would never pay for itself either but it would be fun.

Today was not an eBay day but did get something in from an outside order. Didn't order anything from eBay either.

Gold is still happily trading in a fairly consistent range. Crude has moved back up a good bit. Still a bit below where it has been trading but is moving back up. My platinum coin merchant does have a single selection tonight. I am sure like all the others it will be gone by this time tomorrow. I have never seen a selection last more than a day. Certainly there has been quite the demand for platinum.

Seems quiet enough out tonight.
