Dry again today.
Jun. 10th, 2020 10:03 pmI didn't look at any radar so I don't know if any other area got any rain that was close to here. Looking at the forecast it doesn't look like much chance of rain for a while. A cold front moved through so we are going to have reasonable cool night for the next week or so and hopefully combined with dryer air.
Did burn some incense today. Vanilla. And as usual I used my strike any where matches. Also got the kitchen cleaned up and ran the dish washer but I haven't put up the dishes yet. More work for tomorrow. And I also hung up my t-shirts haven't put them away yet. I do like having a clean kitchen. I think I smelled someone barbecuing today as I went out to get the mail. I did smell kind of good.
Finally got a package. Late but it did make it.
Bought another eBay item. No surprise there as I sometimes do that on just a whim. Still expecting stuff to get here.
Going to vote by mail in the next election. One of the privileges of being over 65. Got my ballot in the mail today. Voted and mailed it back. Thought it would be post paid but you have to use a stamp to mail it back. Not a big deal.
Looks like I finished The Last Kingdom tonight. So on to another series. I enjoyed The Last Kingdom. Going to miss watching it. Been a viewing pleasure for some time. Don't know if NOVA was on tonight. I will have to check.
Still need to remember there is going to be another Falcon 9 launch for the Starlink project on June 12. Working hard to remember that. Won't be as popular as the Crew Dragon launch as that was every where on the news.
Got some more text from Pilar today. More checking up on me. Plenty more traffic out for my drive to the post office to mail my ballot. Need to open all my mail that has accumulate. Not so much for the content as I have been paying bills more from just seeing the envelops but to separate out the recycle paper.
Got paid today. Doesn't really seem to be any rhyme or reason to the date. Some times on the first and sometimes as late as the 13th. Nice to have some income.
I need to build a better mount for one of my project. Kind of an awkward design at the moment. Much too hot to do anything in the shop.
Something setting just off the upper coast of South America. As busy as this hurricane season seems like it is going to be it probably needs to be watched. The National Hurricane Center doesn't give it much chance of developing soon but still.
I think that is going to do it for tonight.
