Don't think it rained today.
Jun. 8th, 2020 11:19 pmI thought I saw some radar images that showed some possible rain but if so it didn't seem to get anything wet. And there was a decent chance of rain today. It did look like on Radar that some areas got some decent storms but I don't think we did.
Doesn't look like rain anytime soon looking at the forecast but it does look like a cool front moves in Wednesday and at least drops the night time lows to the cool side. Could probably sleep with the windows opened for a few days but don't know about the humidity.
I heard a gecko. I know there are plenty of them around but don't seem to have heard any the last couple of nights but yes that is definitely a gecko outside. Loud one at that. Hard to tell if there is more than one. In Brownfield the wind was always blowing. I loved to listen to the wind blow while I was going to sleep. Just something about that. Maybe the way the house was build that made it sound like that. That was a nice house and it was my first one. Not very big but it was just about perfect for a first home. Didn't have a dishwasher but it was a rent house prior so I had a refrigerator and washer dryer included in the deal.
I did remember to burn incense today and choose to burn black cherry. Only the one stick today. And as usual used my strike anywhere matches to light it.
No luck with lap cats tonight but Fozzy did snuggle while I was taking a nap.
Did a load of t-shirts tonight and managed to get them in the dryer but haven't put them on hangers yet.
Probably getting very close to the end of The Last Kingdom series. I watched it again tonight. My viewing pleasure on Monday nights is usually Fast and Loud but I guess last week was the last show of the season because it wasn't on tonight. And no Curse of Oak Island for Tuesday night. I did return my Netflix movie today so it is on the way back to them.
I guess I should make use of CBS all access now.
Got an eBay delivery tonight. I think I have one more outstanding item. Probably addicted to eBay. Don't bid much on items there anymore. Don't think I have in quite a while. Just mostly buy it now type of guy anymore.
My lawn company came today. Usually in the morning but today was in the afternoon. I guess I wasn't first on their list today. But they do come on Monday. Occasionally on Tuesday.
Paid a bill today. My biggest one. That should catch me up on everything. Well, I had better check one bill. Not sure I paid it. Yes, I did. So current on everything.
Checked in with work today and it looks like everyone was working from home. I do see some changes on the floor plan. So I don't know if they just come in a day or so and then work mostly from home. We don't get much of anything anymore from the department manager. Hard to know what is going on at work. Could have forgotten about us.
That should do it for tonight.
