Even better chance of rain on Saturday and Sunday. But this is Houston. So the weather will make up its own mind.
I did get my Houston Museum of Natural History auction piece in today. Very beautiful. Of course the picture makes it look a lot bigger but it is still very nice. Nice assortment of gem stones. Don't know what they all are but makes a very nice combination. Kind of nice to see something I actually managed to win at auction. But no one bid against me. Probably be another auction soon. And I will try again. I promised Gary a picture but I will do that tomorrow.
Ran the dishwasher today but haven't put them up yet. Didn't have enough room to do all of them so I will unload it and then put in the overflow that I missed today. Definitely work for tomorrow.
Also did a load of whites. Haven't moved them from the washing machine to the dryer yet. Work for tomorrow. With all the T-shirts that I have managed to collect over the years I was starting to run low. Will have a fresh batch ready to go tomorrow.
Put out my waste bin for pickup tomorrow. Waste pickups are Wednesday and Saturday with Saturday being recycle pickup. I wait until I have almost a full bin before dragging mine to the curb. They are big so takes a while to fill one up. Manage to fill this one up enough to set out.
Just checked the National Hurricane Center and it looks like Arthur has disappeared. Don't see any mention of what happened. It is now a post tropical cyclone. Not a weather person so don't really know what that means. But no tropical weather expected for the next 48 hours. Still odd to get a storm before season actually starts.
I watched a bit more of Frozen II. Seems like I am watching it in about 20 minute segments. I might actually finish it tomorrow. The premium channel preview only lasted until Sunday night. They have been lasting all week. Still watching the Last Kingdom series on NetFlix. Make it through about an episode at a time. I probably started this series a year or so ago. I still have content on my DVR.
Not much for Tuesdays viewing pleasure. Might be something out there but I haven't found it. This night was always about the Curse of Oak Island. And Wednesday is Nova but they have been in reruns.
Cleaned up the kitchen today which is a recurring item with some frequency.
I have been watching a lot of how to Videos on YouTube. Kind of helps to satisfy my urge to be in the shop but it is entirely too warm. I do like to watch Adam Savage of Myth Busters fame. I do have a few other favorites. Colin Furze is another favorite. He has over 10 million subscribers. And there is goonzquad. Plus some foreign language channels that I don't understand what they are saying but they are fun to watch.
Got a few things on order from eBay. Still waiting on my incense sticks to make it but everything is running slow these days. Everyone is ordering stuff. eBay is certainly amazing for finding just about anything.
Probably should start working on another Curb Side order. I might just try delivery this time. They charge a fee but nothing to make it prohibited. Never done it before so might just try it. I could use Favor if I really needed something and can get it free for being old but I still have to pay a tip to the delivery person which I wouldn't mind doing for the convenience of not having to go myself.
Memorial day is this Monday. Kind of dark memories. Houston flooded on Memorial day some years back and our office flooded along with it. I had to make an emergency return from Saudi. On the positive side though I see where the company big guy (I don't really know his title) is giving everyone an extra day for Memorial. So people will get Monday and Tuesday off. Not that it makes a lot of difference because I am not working.
I got a Linked In request. I didn't know him but I just generally accept all requests on Linked In. I have far more Linked In contacts that I have Facebook Friends. I updated my status somewhat too. I don't have much on there at all but just wanted to update my work title. With the old GDS we didn't have titles. It was such a small company that it didn't really matter.
Today's lap cat was Fozzy. Just curled up I think more as one of his obligations to the minimum time requirement to be lap cat. Always feels so relaxing when they do.
Well, I think that should to it for today and tonight.
