Did get the early morning rain.
May. 6th, 2020 11:25 pmThe weather forecast was right about the early morning rain. We did get some. Way too early in the morning to really pay attention to it but the rain did happen. Looks like the next decent chance of rain is going to be Friday.
I didn't get to see the Blue Angels flyover today. I had my binoculars in hand and was ready. I thought I could hear them but they never got close. I guess just too fay away and too low for me to see them. Their flight plan kind of put me in the middle of a large loop. I did watch video reruns of it. Nice to see them.
Friday should be a different story for the Lone Star Flight Museum Vintage plane flyover. Looking at the flight plan I believe they are going to pass about a mile to the north of me. Should be able to see them this time. Probably close to 30 or so planes. Crossing about 12:30 or so. Not as precise as the Blue Angel but then again they probably don't train for tight formation flying and can really only go as fast as the slowest plane. Looking forward to it.
Put together a new curbside order for next Tuesday. Probably will add a few more items as I think of them. Might do some more looking tonight.
Finally found the digital power supply that I bought once before on eBay. Don't know why it was so hard to find but took me three days on and off searching eBay for it.
No CAD work today. I had good intentions but it seems like the day passed too quickly. I did make another color changing night light. Had to fix a bad solder connection and got it to work. Very nice effect to watch the color change.
Brought the trash bin back up to the front porch. Going to let it sit there a few days before moving it again.
Checked this morning and my stimulus check has arrived. Bank shows it as pending and hasn't added it to my account. Should be good to go soon.
Did some bathroom cleaning today. Just a little.
Going to get deliciously cool outside tonight. Even more so Saturday and Sunday. Probably cold front moving through.
I think I am going to visit Palo Duro Canyon tonight and stay up a bit longer. Colorado Canyon is not far from there although not as well known as Palo Duro Canyon. We used to go to church retreats somewhere close to there. I have been to Palo Duro on several occasion. Kind of nice to visit virtually.
Got to think of more places to visit.
