For all the high chance no rain today.
Had a very high chance of rain today but didn't get a drop. Watching the rain move on radar it looked like there was some kind of invisible force field that was stopping the rain from moving in. Something just to the south of us. Now it looks like it might make it early tomorrow. Tomorrow has an much elevated chance or rain and the following day does too. Forecast says heavy thunderstorms. It is the weather so I guess just really difficult to predict the weather here. More rain probably to come in the forecast and the temperatures are going to stay down. Although I haven't check it does seem like they are well below normal. Rain suppose to start soon. Not to long from now. My outside temperature gauge shows that it is about 82°F outside with 72% humidity. So somewhat drier out than it has been but like always we have to check in with the airport to see what they say. According to the official temperature it is 82°F with 70% humidity. So moving on.
Felt anxious most of the day and got really down this evening. Depressed. Sometimes I am just never sure why. I just get really depressed. Somewhat better now that I know this day is just about over and I can put another one in the books.
Made it to the ophthalmologist today. New treatment for dry eye. The pulsed light treatment kind of scared me with its potential side effects. Made me very anxious about doing that treatment. So I just elected to go with the far less potentially problematic heat treatment. Not bad at all and it seems to have helped. Going back for another in three weeks. Don't really want to do the pulsed light treatment. Hopefully just getting the heat treatments occasionally will at least moderate the problem. Kind of disrupted my day and I didn't feel like doing much of anything.
I did put the dished up from the dishwasher and I put a load of whites in the washing machine and they did make it into the dryer. That was about all that I did all day. No project work or woodworking. Not much in the mood for it.
Didn't get anything in as far as orders but I did break down and order the Mini-table saw from Micro-Mark. Looks like a good saw. You get what you pay for and I hope this one is worth the money I spent. Hope to use it so I don't always have to get my regular shop table saw out. And I can work small pieces safer. This will be so much better than my home made table saw. I guess I can still use that one but it will need some work. Was kind of expecting my speakers to come in today along with my after eating snacks but neither one made it. Maybe tomorrow. That is about all I am expecting.
Catnapped Fozzy today and put him in may lap. He stayed and seemed to enjoy the attention. Hasn't been a voluntary lap cat in a while. Don't know what I did.
Got my stickers in from Ashley yesterday. Nice. Want to support my niece.
Kind of sorted through all my keepers today. Really like the amber pendant I got from my auction win at the Museum of Natural Science. A lot larger that I was expecting. Thinking it is a mosquito trapped in the amber. Don't know. Could be some kind of small fly. Still nice regardless. Would be quite the conversation piece.
Viewing pleasure today included my Netflix serious, YouTube videos and some Gold Rush. Typical of my days.
Today is July 7th. Days. The full moon for this month is on the 23rd.
Didn't get anything out today so all I have to do is put up the car. Got to put it on charge tonight. Getting low on charge.
Didn't pay any bills today. Burned some incense today. Black Cherry. Offered to let Fozzy smell it. Didn't like it at all. Ran off.
Had a little more of my ice cream for dessert after dinner tonight.
Did some work on my HEB delivery order. Got to do more work on it. Add items as I think of them.
No word on the car. Still hasn't been inspected. Hopefully will happen soon.
Got one annoying call and one scam call. No junk calls today. Maybe off for the week.
Gold seems to be hanging around between $1700 and $1800 and ounce. Crude backed away more from its 52 week high. Guess it is taking a bit of a breather. Has been setting new record highs for awhile.
Looks like two launches on the 11th. A Virgin plane launch and a Falcon 9. Probably watch both.
Going to pause and put the car up. Don't feel like going for a drive.
My two kitties are rescues. Both very sweet. Brothers but different personalities.
Hopefully nothing for the next 14 days.
Looks like the storm is on its way. About midnight onward. Watching the radar. Got one emergency light ready to do. And my under counter lights too. Going to have to be enough if we lose power. Got my transfer switch extension cord and generator ready to go.
Got the car put up. Forgot to put it on charge. Going to do that now.
Got the car on charge. Getting low.
Still nothing from my Landscaper. Don't know when they are going to fix my yard.
About ready to close another day out. Don't know about the coming storm.
I think that is going to do it for tonight.
